I'm fine at that chapter ;)

I am doing some reads about mobile depots. I have five and use two as commercial boards, so to speak. I am checking on reinforcement mode but I dont find what I want. So, why to reinforce before combat then scoop to ready them for combat? Why dont I just drop them when combat beguins? I need to go out there and find the why myself. Has something to do with scooping them loaded with the hardeners inside?

How interesting anyway.

Rig for range. Out range him with heavy missiles.

Laugh as he dies and there's nothing, save running away, he can do about it.

Lst night we had a first dance my Tengu against his Legion and I was able to hit him while he couldnt even target log me. He still moved faster and came close enaugh for he to lock me when his shield was all down. Not close enaugh thou to shot at me. I warped off when I realized I was doing literally no damage at all to his armour. I will relay on the assumption I can shoot further and save my rigs for shields. I normally use recharge rate but this time I will use size, so if I lose I will blame it on you guys.

If he can't hit you, why would you need a shield?

However, it's your fight.

I know what you say is clever. But I already asume I will have to find the limit distance he still cannot hit me... while I keep a B plan. Or I don't fit a scram either due to he's going to be out of it's range.

Just set Caldari Specific ECM's in as many mids as possible, Obviously you will need a scram still and AB, Then just hope you can perma jam him, you'll most likely require Co Processors in 1 or 2 lows to get more ECM's on, Also fit signal distortion amps in the remaining lows :P

he'll fit a drake, Probably go with a standard HAM PvP fit still since all this has had is a lot of fitting ideas fired at you. you haven't actually given away your fit at all. You could always use a Loophole in the agreement and turn up in a navy drake, Still a drake after all.

To be fair doesn't really matter since if he beats you he's doing you a favour really, Drakes are pretty poor ships these days

Simple; before the fight bring an alt in first with passive targeter, ship and cargo scanner. Figure out the resists he's fitting and the ammo he has in the cargo hold. adapt your ammo type and resists accordingly.

Yes, yes I am. Thanks for noticing.

This is really dumb and kinda relies on him voluntarily coming within scram range to hold him down (and not having full scram+web+AB fit to get back out), but outside of ridiculously specific fits a Drake won't actually ever be able to break it (800+ regen vs Kinetic without overheating the hardener, which is more than a Drake can do with overheated Rage HAMs and 3xBCS) so you can basically just sit there until he makes a mistake or make him warp off and claim victory.

Simple, indeed, and so obvious. I love it, is like DOH.

Anyway the dude didnt show. He will eventually appear but today he's being reported as sneaking a bit and rarely quiet. Then off all day. I'll update if anything happens. Thanks again.

No one has mentioned implants? They are quite significant with the right fit ...

Once upon a time the Golem had a Raven hull and it looked good. Then it transformed into a plataduck. The end.

I agree! If one would ever spend a silly amount of isk, this is the time to do it.

Also, bling your ship!

I disagree. There is nothing which cannot be made better with their addition to your proximity.

He'll have friends to win the fight because it's a drake. Why? It's been covered already, you can tank a drake more than it can put out in dps. If you both fit for that a true 1v1 would never end till dt or you run out of ammo.

So, if he's as you say and pretty experienced he'll know this and want a trump card. Worst thing is, if it is a trap then he just get's to say 'yip it's EVE' and no one will care apart from your dented pride.

So instead, blow him the hell up with friends/alts/whatever you devise.

Or e-honour...

I get what you say and this comes to match the implant question as the extra dps may come not just from drake but for the implants that I am using for missile damage, rapid launch and so. Also the whole set of mid-grade crystal, mostly for shield booster but this fit will not use them so... we will see.

For me what matters is that I showed while others have cowarded in station stoping their lifes because of a dude. I showed with a good fit and ready for a fight to set the things for once no matter what. Win or lose is a matter of isk and score but the fun behind the play -at least in my mind- is not to have 100 more or less millions in wallet. E-honour but Eve-honour. Big smile

Aaah but if it's a trap (it likely is) then you are giving that guy what he wants.

Have you considered counter offering him with ships that can actually kill each other? Caracals perhaps and if the isk inolved is a thing just make it a best of 3.
