Explorer Buzzard

I have been perusing the fits for the buzzard but have yet to find one that most of the community doesn't call "worthless" or a "total fail."

I have been a miner for most of my EVE career, tried some pvp but got my a** handed to me repeatedly. I've decided to try being sneaky. I bought a Zephyr and did some exploration. It was a blast, literally. I had an awesome time until I caught a slight case of Death By Drake Syndrome. I like the buzzard and will have the skill to operate it soon. I want to rig it to stay as unseen as possible. Does anyone know a good exploration rig for a Buzzard?

The term "exploration" - in eve - tends to mean scanning and running mag, radar, and DED sites. You aren't going to do that effectively in a buzzard. I have a feeling, though, that you just mean, "sneak around and look at stuff" and, if so, it would be hard to come up with a bad fit. Covert ops cloak 2, sisters probe launcher (or the new t2 launcher), Gravity capacitor rig. The rest is up to you.

If you intend to run anything other than the few high sec radar/mags that have no NPCs or marginal amounts, sure it will work. You'll also make less money than a level 1 mission runner.

If you intend to probe with the buzzard and run sites with a second ship, good luck with that. Unless you are doing it in low or null sec, the site will be gone by the time you come back with your combat ship. Doing it with an alt account is an option of course.

The best solution is an all-in-one. With good skills (get all to 3, then rangefinding to 4), sisters gear (launcher and probes; you can actually grab T2 launcher now for same benefit, though higher fitting requirements), rigs (gravity capacitor) and a hardwiring implant (PPH-0 is super cheap and gives you 2% to scan strength, PPH-1 will give you 6% and is worth the extra isk), a non-bonused ship to probing will do just fine. Fit it to tank what you need, throw on a codebreaker if you want to do radars (mags are garbage, IMO) and go for it.

for what you want there are some (sorry people I'm going to say it) Tengu fits.

Probe, lock down, kill, loot.

here you can find several, Buzzard fits as well.

A Tengu is quite an investment though if you ever want to do `anything` else there is probably a Tengu fit for it as well.

Eve Fittings

and remember when running those site´s solo, aliegn and bash your directional scanner till you´re finger hurts
