i'd love to see ccp revamp the hauler models

start off with a basic hull but when you add cargo expanders or cargo rigs the hauler model looks fatter or longer as you would see the cargo pods appear on the side of the ship

like this freighter from star trek. if you look at the side it has 3x cargo pods attached

batris

another freighter with cargo pods (actually the main hull already has an iteron V look to it)

SS fortunate

each cargo expander would add 1x pod on each side of the ship.

rigs would add 2x cargo pods to the top & 1x cargo pod to the bottom of the ship

pirates/gankers would be able tell by the look of the ship if it has cargo mods & rigs fitted

also ccp could make ore bay/pi goo expander mods that look different for the haulers that are specialised

Thorax and all its t2/pirate counterparts need a major texture rework.

First reason if you look at the plain thorax picture, your like o okay it doesn't look to bad just needs a brush up and fixing, but when you click on the actually image in 3D you see this massive tumor sticking of on a its side.

Second reason most ship that are symmetrical generally are more pleasing to the eye, and the thing it lacks most. Granted most Gallente ships don't have is symmetry, but most have a partial symmetry such as the catalyst, that looks fine but doesn't have a single large random tumor but multiple that looks pleasings thanks to its size.

Third reason if it was a real space ship i am pretty sure it will go off in a random dirtection spining like Sandra Bullock in gravity(well unless you balanced the engines to where one did not use optimal engine output on a unbalanced side and tweaked it some).
Forth reason no Gallente ships have been re-made, which is really big since, they are quite well umm, *cough* ugly
*cough*.
and that is all that i can think of at the time.
P.S. i probably messed up on some spelling or bad wording, so be warned.

A pod. I seem to spend more time in it than any other "ship"

I agree with you on most Gallente and/or Minanter ships, but that is NOT... I repeat, NOT the purpose of this thread. We're 40+ pages into this thread and some people STILL have no idea CCP wants to know which model you want sitting on your desk AS A PHYSICAL MODEL!!!!

I do not want any. Buy a model 100 times more expensive cost? Really? The game should stay in the game.

I was able to find some good deviantart on some gallente ships that could be used as a template for a remodeling of some of the ships.
gallente/eve drawings of ships/ some other stuff that they created.
and also maybe we could barrow some of the color patterns and patterns on the ship of a borg cube, borg tatical cube and here is the look of the mesh . and here is the mesh of the thorax that should be redone/ and on all gallente ships

Honestly? A whole slew of Gallente ships, especially the asymmetric ones.

The Velator, Atron, Imicus, Catalyst, Exequror, Thorax and Thanatos fall under the "Asymmetry is bad, mmmkay?" category.

The Incursus (not as bad as the others), Maulus, Navitas, Tristan, Celestis, Vexor, Proteus, Brutix, Myrmidon, Dominix, Hyperion, Moros and Erebus make my feel like I should be chanting "Tekeli-li!" over voice. Yes, yes, I know about the whole freedom of design and all that, but we're talking about military vessels and not something an eccentric billionaire bankrolled himself. I want my ships to look like they're designed by sane people, not servants of Cthulu. Leave the Otherness to the ancient races of Eve.

This is a good compromise between freedom of design and military usefulness.

Also, as an aside, both the Thanatos and Nyx could use a little general rework now that Mordu's Legion has cornered the market on pancakes.

PEOPLE, this thread exists because CCP wants to know what model you want ON YOUR DESK or ON YOUR SHELF. Thay do NOT want to see your opinions of the in-game models.

Thankfully, they've stopped commenting on the thread, so I suspect they're not even looking at it anymore

I'd love to see Machariel with angel logo on sides and original size (before the nerf).

I have no idea. a couple CCP have come on and thanked the posters for the info. Since then, they haven't posted again.

Sounds like a good idea for me, too.

The people posting now... either you don't understand the purpose of the thread or maybe you just don't care.

Me, I don't care and I'm removing this thread's bookmark from my list.

Lol that would be awesome, but I dread to think how long in (tens of?) feet an Apoc would be, let alone a Titan!
