She does have a teensy reputation for engaging within the Caldari Militia too, I'm afraid Ymladris-haani.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

Ah yes... forgot briefly about the many reports of her engaging 'unpatriotic' pilots. Point remains that she's far from harmless.

Indeed, I have attacked "militia" members a couple of times, but it was incredibly rare cases, because I use this option only for the cases when the pilot whom I must engage is the lowliest scum, traitor, awoxer and complete idiot, whose presence in the militia is a shame to all of us, and my duty is to wipe them from existence.
Luckily for all of us, quantity of such pilots in existence is negligible small.
Considering amount of my engagements with other entities, I have no idea, where such "reputation" could come from, but I can suppose, that it is a gallentean propaganda.

While I know this is going to be seen as a jab at you Diana I only mean to pose it as a serious question. Your views go against the sentiment of your own people. Your beliefs, while justified in the past, hold no bearing to the present from what I can tell from the others speaking up here and you have shot at your fellow millitiamen. Does that not make you a traitor? The ideas and sentiment you hold held validity at one point, but really don't now. Your beliefs really seem to go against the common goal of your state, thus working to undermine the very state you serve's direction. Are you a traitor? I am probably the only one here saying no, I firmly believe we you are merely misguided towards what the state you serves goals are.

Are you one of our people? I mean, how can you judge? Or whom do you listen? Caldari peoples, or just traitorous forum loudmouths, who actually were betraying Caldari people, and themselves prefer to stay on the side of Gallenteans?

Deitra Vess wrote:

My beliefs are just beliefs.
I fight for the State and Caldari people. I never shot "fellow" militiamen, only disgraceful scum, awoxers and outright idiots.
I shoot traitors. You don't become traitor for shooting traitors, Ms. Vess.
I am simply doing my job. And if you are not sure, ask those, whom I fly with, and not forum buffoons and gallentean bootlickers.

What would jaijii know about "direction" of our State?..

Deitra Vess wrote:

Yet you are asking and behave like a forum troll, which I really don't appreciate.
I don't think anyone whom I flied with would call me traitor, so I have no idea, where you took that "only I here blablabla", unless, of course, you are simply jabbing me for the sake of jabbing, and fueling more mendacious rumors.

Deitra Vess wrote:

My goals, as a soldier, are to destroy enemies of the State, which I am doing.
And if you believe that I am "misguided" in doing my job, you can push your opinion deep into your *beep*, since it doesn't have any value at all.

What do you expect?

"...she's a soldier. She wears a uniform."

Nothing wrong with either of those two Zenariel... as indeed I have done both myself.

It isn't THAT she wears a uniform, or even one the Caldari Navy replaced a couple of hundred years ago....

What bothers me most is that she never washes it!!

I can only imagine what her pod smells like...

In my experience, Kim-haani is something of an ascetic. She may not go in for long soaks in a hot tub, but she's usually scrubbed clean - possibly under cold water given her disdain for luxury.

Soaking in water. Being splattered by water. You people are so weird. Haven't used anything but the sonic and thermal/proton chamber for as far as I can remember. Suddenly I feel old and wanting to rant about how you kids today not living with water restrictions on stations to decrease water treatment facility pressure up the gravity well, both ways! In the snow (may not be actual snow due to water restrictions on stations to decrease water treatment facility pressure)!

Off with the clothes, thirteen point eight seconds in the chamber for maximum hygienic result and voila. Ready to get back to profits or fun, once more.

You can mine ice out in space, you know? In a decent Caldari Orbital the grey water can be recycled and purified until you can barely taste the difference between it and fresh.

I know, I know. It's still a valuable resource and once you have it in-station you can process and recycle it with almost 100% efficiency. It's just a question of water treatment facility capacity which may not be high enough to handle a large enough volume. The bottleneck lies in reclamation rather than procurement.

Or at least it was back in my days. I suspect I could turn every water source available to me on max flow without the station managers raising an eyebrow now that I'm a capsuleer, obviously. Old habits die hard though, and I just don't get this water fetish.

I do remember back when I first started living on the Cistuvaert Centre for Advanced Studies orbital, we still technically had per-head water allowances, but they were so ridiculously large you'd have to have been trying to fill a swimming pool before you hit your limit.

Oh, you should see some of the legacy regulations surrounding wasting station resources! Truly draconian, although nowadays this is no longer a life or death problem - unless you're talking about opening one of the oxygen or water storage tanks to vacuum.

I respect our Ancestors who had the bravery to adopt the Orbital life in those early days, but I can't say I'm sorry to see those days of scarcity gone.

And this is why the Federa... why Ixiris and the CCAS must be destroyed.
Such waste! Such decadence! A sure sign of a diseased, bloated and degenerate society.

Or really good water reclamation facilities.

I'm getting the distinct impression I lived in rather basic sections of my childhood stations.

CCP, there are off buttons for ship explosions, missile effects, turret effects, etc. "Immersion" does not seem to be harmed by those. So, please give us a persisting off button for the jump gate and autoscan visuals.

well, you don't see me posting my personal beliefs for others to not comment on do you? You open yourself up for anyone to let their opinions known, and thats just what i did....

I merely asked an honest question and also shared my honest opinion. Whether you like it or not, well alot of people don't necessarily like your opinions. After all, thats why this thread exists in the first place.... My intentions were to ask a serious question, though you may not have liked it it wasn't meant to offend you.

In conclusion, notice i don't have to attempt to insult you in my responses to get my point across? Its not exactly fitting behavior for a professional soldier outside of the battlefield. Then again, thats just my opinion.

Diana.
You seriously need to stop referring to anyone who says something you dislike as a 'forum troll'.
Considering the meaning of the term, and your current and past actions, it is you, not anyone else, who is trolling this forum.

You say one thing, yet your actions do not correlate.

To be honest i'm not sure why i even bother to try to offer you advice anymore.
your general response is unmitigated bile.
has been since we first talked in fact.

You should perhaps return to Achur and learn the meaning of respect.
