I haven't mined in awhile, but I noticed the changes yesterday. I think I kind of preferred the old sounds too.

I think (or hope) SkoutR was referring to the pre-incursion (or was it incarna when they got removed?) sounds.
And they were much better in my opinion than the previous ones (which were only the standard mining laser sound replacing the former awesome strip miner and ice harvester sounds) and the current new ones...

Love how you misspelt 'Mining' in two different way's OP.

Either way, I prefer the new sounds - let's me know when they've stopped.

no amount of cool sound effects will ever make mining better. Grab a gun and start shooting people, before mining makes you do it irl

The new sounds are great. I never heard the 'old ming sounds.' Was that in the Shanghai version?

Also, please quit complaining. I love this release of EVE.
