There's a wormhole linking my system with another system.

A pilot came through. I was sitting on our end of the wormhole. He fled and I chased him back through.

First thing he said in local was "草."

What does that mean? Google picks it up as "grass," but I imagine there's some contextual meaning to it.

Green?

Maybe it means Noob.

"草" is homonym of "操"

"操" is a slang of "fxxk''

We can with certainty say it probably means what everyone says in local when they are being chased '' lol too slow and i'm stabbed hahaha moron ... '' or '' wow SO l33t camping a wormhole entry , i bet your a blobbing ***'' .

Grass or straw if it is Japanese. If it is Chinese there are many other options, rough, careless, thatched and more.

Yeah, and if you add dialects, slang, subcultures etc. you end up in a bottomless bog.

Is it possible to use non english characters for a character name? Could be useful for wormhole characters in theif pods making it a hassle for people to look up a character online.
