Pretty much everyone I've ever heard on comms refers to everyone else by their first name. No one calls me "Darksmith", they call me Galen. I wouldn't call you Nolm, I'd call you Novekk.

Honestly, unless someone has a completely unpronounceable first name or a very catchy last name, people will call them by their first name 99% of the time. I wouldn't worry too much if all that bothers you is the last name.

My name literally is from Brink, the terrible first person shooter. I bought that and downloaded Eve the same day. I hit random 5 times for a surname.

Brink Albosa. I can live with that name. But if I knew then I would be here 3 years and 60 million skillpoints later, I would have tried harder.

It wouldn't really be a big deal if they added something like this. People who want to stay annonymus right now are already using alts. CCP already considered this awhile ago.
