Ya...not gonna lie, i was laughing the entire time that was in fleet. But was really confused at how well it did.

I have been flying with Jill for a while now. Initially I only tried it due to never flying armor incursions before and never running anything apart from HQ's.

There is a great group of people in OIC, we have both experienced members and very new players both to incursions and the game in general.

As it is for now, if you fly armor Incursion within OIC you will probably get banned from TDF.

During the last 6 weeks I tried to resolve that by TS and mail with the TDF Council members. However during a course of the mails and the TS session there was a certain amount of disagreement.

I was offered to come back to TDF and bring everybody with me however I named a few points why I will not do something like this:

- It wouldn't solve the issue that you can fly shield Incursions in every Inc, while you could fly armor just in one.
- I see issues in the overall TDF armor doctrine, since there seams no real direction, no real progress with the fittings and no overall con-sense where to go currently, what creates a lot of issues when you compare the performance to shield setups.
- I can't really run the ship loan out system, fly a different doctrine than TDF and work with new players in TDF as I can in OIC, for the simple reason that I have more control here, can use more time for new player support and can pick up people outside of the TDF focus from the local incurision chat, what was and is a goal of the channel.
- I did question the actions of some council members against other channels, pilots or FCs, I for my self will not stand for resolving conflicts with banning people instead of having a discussion with them first, think that the hostile behaviour of TDF towards other armor channels is very damaging to armor Incursions and TDF itself and I don't find it acceptable to threaten people with bans to convince them to stay on a very basic level, this should be not acceptable for any Incursion community or any MMO community. So my answer was that as long as this is a acceptable in TDF, I will not consider to participate again in the channel I flown nearly 3 years in as DPS, Logi, LC, FC.

While I asked for the opinion of the individual Council members about her general stance towards the decision, I didn't really get much response beyond the mails with Major and it kind of makes me sad that so many people seam to have no opinion about it on her own or don't take the time to address the points I did bring forward individual, providing me with her point of view on the matter. What I am also still waiting for is a general official statement with good reasoning for the decision provided, since I think it should be a community decision. What I did bring forward to TDF as community leader of OIC was and it was open to discussion in the channel and I forward my mails to everybody that wanted to see them and wanted to give her feedback. The information about why should be accessible to the members of both community's.

One of the most reasonable things probably was that I would steal members form TDF. However this isn't really true since I only can think of a hand full of people from TDF that tried out OIC and most of the people that came over for flying here every day mostly did this to fly Incursions again with her friends, people that left TDF for good, disagreeing with some of the actions there or got banned there before OIC even existed(like myself). Most of the people that fly here every day now I picked up here and there in the local Incursion chat or form other channels I am in, because if one of the goals is to include new players and provide a lot of people the chance to try it out, you end up with a lot of people staying around for a bit and full fleets for the most part. I never advertised it as the better option or the future of armor based Incursions, it is what it is a fairly new player friendly channel and another option to fly armor outside of the TDF focus, for people that have issues with standings, can't move over to the TDF focus by the lack of time or just want to try out something different. Also I think one of the most interesting aspects of Incursion in the long run is flying with a lot of different people, meet a lot of people you never did meet other wise and see different things in different channels, what decision like this influence in a negative way.

All together the decision makes me sad, however it is not really in my hands. As I told the TDF council multiple times, there is no hate from my side towards TDF, I just don't agree to some decisions(like her actions against other channels like BGH or individual TDF members that left the channel after it) of the council and since there seams no way to resolve them by communication for now, I guess I have to life with that for the time being. However I hope that the decision might be questioned in TDF again at some point and that there will be a more basic discussion of what kind of actions are acceptable for TDF council members and what shouldn't, because I think some of here actions are highly questionable for the overall health of TDF and armor Incursions altogether.

I'm sorry to hear that negotiations have broken down after all this time. It is good to see how well OIC is doing.

"Friends of Jill" will always win out over the likes of "Friends of Joac" (oh wait, is there such a thing?).

The stance and attitude of TDF towards various shield communities got this new comers curiosity up and I went to see for my self.

What I've found is that there are other "jills" out there ... It appears TDF does not attract/keep that kind, others do.

I can think of one FC (est tz) I'd love to see migrate to oic ... he is a fish out of water there ... birds of a feather and all.

I'm very interesting in running Incursion.
You looks like a very dedicated EvE veteran and your project is matching my vision of the game.

I'm a fairly newb player (10M sp) so i'm looking for un newb friendly community.
So i say i'm looking for doing incusion in a good relaxing atmosphere but of course seriously enough to reach objectives.

I'm involved in FW with my PvP alt and i do some T1 armor logi in fleet. So i'm not a newb in remoting people :)
I like the remote gameplay so this is what i want to do in Incursion.

I'v already got the mailing list and i'v 10 days of skilling in order to match your requirements. When this will be done i will try to get in touch with you to see how i can start to play with you guys.

With all the drama going on unfortunately our fleet was forced to take a break yesterday evening... However not due to the inc being opped (that happened later) instead we were forced to have a break as the FC and over half the fleet was in stitches or verging on wetting themselfs laughing.

I'll be damned if i can remember what it was about but for the sake of the fleet we had to have a small break before someone had an accident.

Was a great fleet though.

OIC still running as often as we can, now sporting a US TZ fc aswell, Look us up in the public directory.

I doubt you will find a more friendly and newbro friendly community out there, we may not be active 23,5/7 but when we run we have fun.
