The point is to confront these actual workings to the way CCP maintains an infrastructure that (it's my personal assesment) aims to integrate and provide structure for these social mechanisms (a corporate added value of which you are, I'm sure, all aware of the originality in cultural industries)....

Did your survey, but that sentence gave me cancer.

If it's not too much trouble, could you elaborate please ? What do you think is wrong ?

Thanks in advance, it would really help :)

To elaborate, it's too elaborate yo.

Goggles. Making me look good. Making you look good.

I find it difficult that you're basing a master's thesis on on a single data point. Srsly? A 5 question survey for a masters?

USA! USA!

@OP: I tried taking the survey. It's too high for me. I've never asked myself this "what is meta game" question. For me, everything game-related is game-related. Does that make it meta-gaming? No idea. I don't care.

I don't understand how you're writing a master thesis about an empty shell of a word. If you don't know what meta-gaming is, maybe it doesn't exist. Then how can you write a master thesis about it?

It's like writing a master thesis about "guarblegarblechoochoo", then asking people what it is with random questions. This isn't science what you're doing, bro.

Eve too complicated? Try Astrum Regatta.

On the second page I see this. I'm a little groggy and my tea hasn't sunk in but I think it doesn't make any sense.

Capsuleers and Metagame : Where do you stand in the Eve universe ?

If so, which ones come to mind? *
And if you can kindly spare the time, to which factions would you link them ?

Joffy Aulx-Gao for CSM. Fix links and OGB. Ban stabs from plexes. Fulfill karmic justice.

As I stated a few posts above, meta-gaming isn't the subject of my dissertation. However, I do need to define for myself not what the word is in reality, but what it is perceived as.
The very fact that you think it's an empty shell is also the kind of feedback I'm aiming for (even if, again, I indeed won't be able to use this data as my main material, but only to help my interpretation of specific observations).

This is called a "reflexive" approach (which may not mean anything in English, but I can't think of a better translation, sorry :p).

Hope this clarifies a few things :)

It's the followup question of the previous one :) a Google form needs to separate pages to properly create "paths" of various possible answers. Its just like code : you said Yes here => you go to page X. You said No => you go to page Y.

Hope it's not as confusing anymore :)

Well I cant go back to the previous page to see what the question is, so maybe you should just repeat the relevant question inside that question.

This is a basic communication thing. Don't blame it on Google. Blink

You may be right. I actually tried this at first, but it seemed even more confusing :/

Oh well, mistakes are useful. Thank you :)
