It seems Kronos broke the game so bad you have to install the game from scratch anyhow. Neither launcher, repair tool or manual download helps. This seems to be caused by EVE bugs, as the same problem remains after a complete EVE wipe and re-install.

In the end, there's a limit of how much time I will spend on this bullshit patching. I love EVE, but if I need to spend 5 hours per day fixing EVE's problems, I will quit paying for this game very soon.

Since CCP management is actively trying to make the company go bankrupt, it is only a matter of time before EVE is gone anyhow.

Does anyone have a link where I can upload the client? Because the ones from their site aren't working for me. I asked on the forum like hours ago nobody replied.

You can also try offline installer.

Did you clean up CCP settings after uninstalling the client?

Common man it's really simple stuff. Just make a new page with another installer. This one is just freaking broken. Everyone is complaining about it. So today, will be another day that I can't play EVE. I really want them to repay my gametime.

Connection looks solid to me. In your place I'd try:
Resetting Windows firewall to default settings just in case.
Using different browsers to try and download the offline installer.
Are you sure you don't have any popup blockers, Adguard, Adblock, a couple of antiviruses with paranoid settings?

Oh yes, there is one other solution that will surely work but it involves paying money for it. I am sorry for bringing this up but if there are absolutely no options left you can try it. Sorry! Steam can download Eve Online without any problems. It is the biggest online game retailer there is with 65,000,000 plus active user accounts. If Steam cannot download the game client, then your PC or your Internet service provider is to blame.

You can buy the game directly or you can try and google for the answer whether Steam can accept a new CD key you can buy at a discount from some other source. I've just tried and it doesn't accept the key I have used already to make account for this character.

Here's what I've tried so far:

Tried to turn off Windows Firewall. No change.
Resetted the Firewall to the default settings. No change.
Tried the download link on Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome. No change.
Turned off Avast! active protection. No change.
All my browsers are relatively addon-free but the few I have were deactivated. No change.
Tried downloading the client from a non-gaming laptop. No change.
Tried downloading the client from an office computer. No change.
Tried downloading from a different internet connection. No change.
Resetted the modem and router to default settings. No change.

I think I'm running out of possible troubleshooting tasks here on my end.

I'd be happier with a "Welp, I'm out of ideas" than the solution you just provided. I'm not going to buy another account just for the remote change I might get a working client, specially since it probably is a problem on my ISP's end and there's nothing I can do about it.

I am really impressed. You did a lot of work.
There is another option. Torrents.

And no, I am rarely out of ideas. I might also try to upload the client to a Google Drive or the patches at least. But my connection is 512kbps upload and 10Mbps download. So that would take days.

Another idea. You can get http://content.eveonline.com/793961/EVE_Online_Installer_793961.exe from you Google Drive by using upload from URL https://sites.google.com/site/fileurltodrive/ I've used it to test but the file size is limited to 10MB and therefore I cannot upload the entire client or offline installer like that.

Thank you! Got BitLord all warmed up and downloading the client as we speak. Once it is done and installed, I'll leave a heads up to see how it works out.

I also tried grabbing the Installer via Google Drive (quite a clever script I have to say). Sadly, this problem seems to go deeper. The installer refuses to budge and keeps giving the message saying "Payload 1 not found". There has to be some problem between my ISP and the CCP server that keeps the Client Data or something.

Quite wierd that it decided to happen just after yesterday's downtime.

By the way, people, you are not the only ones suffering from this problem. Some long-time and prominent Eve players have this problem, too.

I have the exact same issue as Wendrika, we are even in teh same ISp, followed almost the exact same steps and can't get the game to work. Not even with a fresh install.

It has been 24h already, nothing has been done to solve this and my sub runs off on the 8th. Assuming nothing will get done over the weekend, as usual, well...time for a break from EvE. We will see how long its going to be this time.

Okay, here's an update.

Finaly after many attempts I managed to make the client work after a clean install. I had to bypass the launcher and execute it straight from the Program Files in the hard drive. After that it was smooth sailing and the game is stable (apart from all my settings being gone).

If you have the same problems as me, use Ved Riru's torrent file and install it. Untill the next patch hits, it should hold up long enough for a "fix" to this hot mess is found, if it is even possible to fix it.

Your settings are stored here

Instead of using my torrent file people are better off registering on Russia's biggest torrent tracker and keep uploading if they can after downloading because that particular torrent is not so popular and because I am not sure many people located all over the world can download at the same time using one passkey that is stored in that torrent.

Try getting it via torrents
Or try to open it via an anonimizer Anonym to community.eveonline.com/support/download/

So many people cannot open this page. Very very surprising. Either Eve Online's firewall's DDoS safeguards need tweaking or Internet service providers need shouting at or maybe parental controls are to blame.

Well, I already sent a ticket to Support to see if I can get to the bottom of this problem. It seems to me it only affects people under a specific ISP, but it is rather odd that the game connects just fine but only jitters when accessing the main Client and Launcher download servers. They probably broke something when they tried to shove in the New Eden Store security check to the Launcher and haven't fixed it yet.
