Perhaps we simply need to start a RAID NULLSEC month every year. All the corporations and players in highsec will stop everything they are doing and pick an area to raid on a massive scale for some truly epic PVP action!

We rush in and wipe out everything in site including POS sites.

Did that yesterday.... bored now. Blink

Besides, in keeping with the current theme of this thread we'd have to create a new alliance or coalitiion and name it something like "The Bowel Movement"... Shocked

That was a great time. About this same time, a year ago. We should do a commemorative "shoot a Goon cyno"event or something.

Festival toilets are appalling. I went to phoenix in the UK in 1996 (i think) and managed to not crap for 5 days. Reading 94..... no just no.... the flashbacks.

Heh Reading/Leeds was the last one I went to. I know people who take laxatives before going then refuse to eat the toilets are so bad. Was always amusing when the nutcases burned them down on the last night.

Nullsec is indeed really just a series of toilets. Their content may vary.

If you are at a fesival where there are 21 toilets owned by 3 differerent toilet rental companies (7 each) of which they agreed to make a fixed price of 1 dollar for each visit, than they would make a hugh profit because the festival visitors wont have any choise.

I dont know how it is called in english (and i am kinda a noob), but that seems like a pretty good sceme.

If this would be a real live case where the first situation is 5 years before the last given situation than i would wonder "what happend?". I would question myselve why only the surviving 3 toilet rental companies are left and if they would have a common factor that tributed to their survival. In a monetairy game where isk is power, it is more likely by having moar isk than the competitor. Looking at this logic and reflecting on eve; the deciding factor must lies in the early moments where the 3 surviving toilet rental companies gained a head start. The reson why is than simply found. So why is the current state of 0.0 so ****?

There are free toilets, but nobody cleans them and the water respawns in some other toilet when you flush it so its not a good idea to use one after someone else has.

It's a matter of desire and wherewithal. We've had a long evolutionary period. There has been a lot of combat. The shape of EVE shifted significantly once, rather significantly once, and is now settling into a period of stasis. This is not unlike real life...what am I saying? This IS real life even IF you're doing it via computer.

What happens next is the ball to keep your eye on. What comes next will come from what is now. Somewhere someone is attracting other someones and they're going to get the idea all those holders of large map chunks aren't all that POWERFUL, if approached correctly. The nutcracker will be applied. The shape of EVE will shift significantly, then rather insignificantly, then comes this stasis everyone loves so much.

The cycles of history...Harley Davidsons? Hardly. But, they still VROOOM!!

The QUESTION is, where will you be in all this as it unfolds?

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

I could get behind that.

Alternatively, make gatecampers have a mandatory breath test so they're only allowed to camp above 0.5% BAC.

Are Monopoly's bad? Yes.

Will complaining about all the rental corps on the forums change anything? No.

At the end of the day if you really want to be free of the mega corps who have taken over null sec space you simply need to find a very OUT OF THE WAY location to live in 0.0. For instance a place with the closest medical station 15 jumps away or something.

The better solution is to cancel sub and move on like I am doing. In comparison with other MMOs on the current market which I am playing I see this as a dev fail 101 at poor game mechanics, in this particular case, poor sov mechanics.

But what if this period of stasis was not evolutionary but handmade? By implenmentation of "new" poor mechanics ontop of allready not very well sov game mechanics, and than made worse by neglecting if for a couple of years?. Wouldnt that raise the ethical question of who's to blame for the less fun currently experiancing (and in future) from it and who's to fix "their" own "mess"?

A thin line indeed, worth discussing at rykjavik office....
