My prediction is that a GM is going to log onto here. Post the entire transaction logs in question and burn you down for that.

Can we all agree not to rabidly troll anyone with a legitimate criticism or complaint of this game? We all know how that went down when the Nex Store came out.

Well the thing is, complaints like these have always historically burned the person with the issue in the past.

Secondly hes complaining on someone else's behalf. There is no way he can or cannot prove the other guy never bought isk where CCP can.

Putting on a tinfoil hat; it is even possible that the OP is an alt of the RMTer and he is hoping by bringing this issue to light he can get his customer back into the game so that his customer can begin purchasing piles of isk off of him again.

Hey when a husband and wife team divorce over this game because the wife robbed out the entire corproation and sold them high and dry what makes you think friends are incapable of betraying each other?

Doesnt sound very believable he got banned because years ago he unknowingly received money from an RMT account.

There sure must be more to it he is not telling.

There is always more to these stories than people tell, generally the "more" is that they did RMT one way or another. Lol

Oh and the OP is generally the alt of the guilty and now whining party in 9 cases out of 10. This thread has been done hundreds of times.

Well for once im not wearing a tin foil crash helmet Big smile. Im a main, a bad poster, amateur meta gamer at worst and if the forum gods want to burn down my request openly I welcome it. I could very well be wrong and welcome any revelations provided. Will they do that without the standard lock and copy paste? Highly doubt it.

Im just taking a small stand for someone I have respect for, the juicy details are beyond me and I log in so rarely it was my girlfriend who brought it all to my attention as just passing news weeks ago. I wish it was as worthy of intrigue as some would suspect.

The advantage of a bad memory is that one can enjoy the same good things for the first time several times.

One will rarely err if extreme actions be ascribed to vanity, ordinary actions to habit, and mean actions to fear.

If your friend took the ban sitting down, I would say he is guilty. Seems like you are more worked out of shape then he was. No reason he couldnt defend himself, especially if he is such a good WF pilot. If he doesnt petition himself or try to get his account restored himself I would say he is guilty and he knew it and is just taking his punishment.

I tell you what.

Why not get Mr. B. Desire to post on the forums using a known alt, or amend his petition, or do *something* to let the GMs know that he waives his right to privacy and wants full disclosure. Then they can post their evidence out in the open scott-free and it can be judged on its merit. There is precedent for such a thing (the guy got roflstomped by the GM and we all had a good laugh at his expense, but don't let that put you off).

It won't change a damm thing, but your story of "I know him, he wouldn't buy ISK, honest guv" will not hold much water without evidence.

This. Anything else would just be speculation and slap-fighting.

It's humorous how people automatically assume their friends are innocent of these kinds of transgressions. I'd say more often than not they are guilty in some form. Of course people want to stand behind their friends and all, but you must remember, this is EVE, and people will do just about anything to get ahead, whether it be scamming, thieving, or piracy. Even on friends they have had for years and years in game.
