Just a very BIG THANK YOU to the mac team for bringing back all the little things like the blinking ship, station and jump gate lights, the energy fields for the drone bays and SOE ships and much more... - it really brings so much more life into the environment!

It really is a huge improvement. I especially love having 4k resolution support for my 39" Seiki Ultra-HD external monitor!

It's the longest thread on the first page of this forum. I'm not surprised you've had no problems with it, for some really strange reason it's specific to characters. So this character has no problems, but I can never put my other character into anything expensive because I might have to restart the game at any time.

Also the bug is from 2011.

My thanks as well, but to be clear - this is a bug fix, not a new feature. The Mac client USED to look like it does now, but they messed it up quite some time ago and just now finally fixed it.

*patiently waits for openGL port so we can have a proper Mac client*

+1. No freezes. Blinking lights. Full screen windowed resolutions. Very low temps on macbook.

I'm getting freezes after i switched from full screen mode to window mode. I restarted several times and it just goes to a black screen from the launcher and hangs. Pretty frustrating.


I'm downloading the client again to see if that helps.
