Let us walk around in the stations. Deploy WiS already. It will be the biggest update to your main gameplay component in Eve's history: Ship spinning.

How? It would take much longer to "manually" spin a ship (walk around it)

I was hoping this thread would be about actual ship spinning improvements such as ability to compete with others at the same station, Roman numeral counter, secret music tracks when you hit milestones, free PLEX for 10k spins instead of 30k spins as it is now..

Joffy Aulx-Gao for CSM. Fix links and OGB. Ban stabs from plexes. Fulfill karmic justice.

I find it surprising that no one mentions the free plex you get for ship spinning to 40k

Ok? So how about Chatroulette on the flat screen in CQ? Although I think we can't have this feature unless we can take our pants off.

^^ Ok, serious question. You get to design what's beyond the door. What would you put there?

Hint: We've already discussed poker tables and Ye Olde Taverne stuff. I mean what would YOU put there that isn't terrible and immersion breaking but would be more interesting than shooting other people in beautifully rendered ships in space?

Yes, because CCP finished WIS years ago and have been sitting on it ever since because... Reasons. But now that you've posted this on the forums, that's all going to change.

It adds an entire world apart from what we already play in. To ask this is like asking me to design a whole game in one post. Just start with what you mentioned and keep adding from there.

What if we could also kill each other and then try to steal a portion of the other's isk by stealing a card or some information stored on an implant on them and then trying to hack into a terminal? Evade concord on foot and the person's body guard using stealth mechanics.

What about betting on dust 514 fights or Legion fights from a special room dedicated to it? It's much more immersive this way rather than sitting in a pod and watching it from there (and more interesting).

What about adding smuggling missions for criminal elements in New Eden? What about assassination missions or the sort that someone like a capsuleer who looks relatively like a normal human is much more suited to carry out rather than a dust 514 mercenary, and doesn't risk truly dying?

What would I put there? I could come up with a hundred ideas just to add more content to this game where there's a huge amount of people that literally just sit in the station and spin their ships.

Legion, as it's been shown, is just an update to Dust 514 to bring it into an MMO universe and get away from being an "mmo" that's just an FPS with a glorified lobby. It doesn't fill any sort of niche as it is.

I would add an assembly-line where manufacturers would have to play a minigame (a la surgeon simulator), where your sleight of hand would affect both module/ship-stats and aesthetics. Imagine malformed Moas with terrible stats flying around.

After WOD has been canned, I dont think CCP is quite ready or able to produce an Avatar based game. Because thats what WIS needs to be, if it wants to be worth while.

And if CCP do magically create a full avatar based space station environment game with content..... why the hell would they insert it into Eve and thus receive very little revenue for it. It would make more sense to develop it an a stand alone game.

Which they dont have a good track record with at the moment.

Jint Hikaru - Miner / Salvager / Explorer / SpaceBum In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.
