New build available 6.0mb --> Verification failed -> unexpected error

Message 1a:

New build available: There is a new build available. Would you like to download it now? The build is 6.0mb in size.

Message 1b:

Connection Failed: Incompatible (build)

Message 2:

Verification Failed:
The update was downloaded but it failed verification indicating that the file is corrupt. Would you like to download the file again?

You will not be able to enter the game until you download the update.

Message 3:

Question:
There was an unexpected error while retrieving update status:

Unable to download file /590158/evepremiumpatch590158.exe from the server.
Error: url //cdn1.eveonline.com/590158/evepremiumpatch590158.exe not found


Do you want to go to support page?

On the support page, it tells me to just redownload the entire eve-online client, which I'm not prepared to do. How can I fix this?

I'm having exactly the same issue; I'd really prefer not to have to download the entire client again. D:

Same issue. Had it with the the patch that was before this one as well. Don't really want to download the client again and lose another 4 hours.

Same issue here. Come one Devs Get a post on here. 6.0mb should not be a game breaking patch

I get that message when running ExeFile.exe when there is a patch available, it then tries to download the new launcher or so. Updating from in-client hasn't worked in a long time. If you get that message, simply close Eve and start the launcher. 's What I've been doing for a while now.

I suppose CCP could remove that part and change the message to "There's a patch, run the launcher to install it" or so.

Looks like they fixed it. When I tried to boot the client this morning it just told me to run the launcher to update.
