I came here onto the forums looking for you, researchers, because in a nutshell, my first attempt was a complete disaster, a dismal failure, and a few noobie lessons learned.

So i made a deal with some one, where I would pay per hour of research done on each blueprint, it was 38,500isk per hour, the first 4 blueprints went well, they where Sentry drones, not EXACTLY what I wanted research wise, but either way I was ok with 96/20 blueprints instead of the 20/8 as I had asked for.

Then started the fun part, the Crystal blueprints which I don't remember asking for... crappy research obviously overcharged, I thought OK, every one is entitled to a mistake right?.. it wasn't allot of ISK so I accepted.

Then the guy disappeared for 2 weeks, finally I sent him a mail with how are my blueprints coming along, and I received a reply stating that he wants close to Retail value for his work! and then he broke and canceled his agreement to complete any of the work.

I need quite a few blueprints researched and im looking for several researchers out there to do it for me.

So I am looking for your input (other then the angry resalers yelling at me to "research your own") and if you are interested in making some ISK, simply contact me in-game or send me a mail for details.

The blueprints are rigs, (so you know what kind of specific skills Is required)
Project completion required approximately 200 blueprints researched in all.

I think you broke an EVE rule: "Do not trust anyone".

I am currently booked-up for nearly the month after recently posting this:

In many cases I'll do the research free, largely depending on: whether I have to pay collateral or not, how long the research is going to take me, and how much the BPO are worth (if you can afford an expensive BPO, you can afford to pay).

I'm currently doing 12 BPO for someone, but about 5 of those will be done today, so send me an EVE-mail if you want to arrange for research (please set CSPA charge to 0 ISK).

Also check the Sell Orders forum for other people offering a research service, and in-game contracts and the blueprint channel for people selling researched BPO.

The safest way to avoid being scammed.

1. Buy BPO at NPC price
2. Item-exchange contract with the researcher, they buy the BPO off of you at the NPC price.
3. After research, they item-exchange contract it back for the original price + research fees.

(Sometimes the researcher will allow you to skip 1&2 if the BPO is convenient to buy.)

Worst case for the researcher, they end up with a researched BPO that they then have to unload on the market. Annoying, but not fatal. Worst case for you, you still have your ISK, but are still without a researched BPO. Also annoying, but not fatal.
