You need to blow on your cartridge a bit then lube it up before inserting it into the slot.

When I was a kid, maybe 4 or so, my older brother had the Zelda cartridge. You know, the gold painted one.

It was shiny.

Shiny things need to be properly washed and cleaned.

Sucker never worked again. My brother was displeased.

Unless he had some prototype we never heard of. :P

On that note, I found my old Atari 2600 only a couple of months ago. AND it still worked! I could only find my River Raid cart though.

If the power light blinks, take out the cartage, blow on it, and then put it back in. Some people will tell you that being a little rough when you press the cartage down helps, but it does not, neither does blowing, but it makes you feel better.
