Not sure if it's specific to Kronos but yesterday I wanted to buy a fancy blue dress from your lovely store.

So I had my Jita alt contract me a PLEX so I could then redeem it for AUR, to my surprise I could not remote redeem the PLEX fo AUR. Preventing me from acquiring said fancy blue dress.

You can remote activate PLEX for everything else account related (via the assets window) so why can I not remotely convert them to AUR?

I love the removal of the jet-cans from hacking sites, but I do wonder if the tweak to the loot tables has gone a bit too far.

I've not found a massive issue with relic sites (maybe a 10% reduction in value on average) but Data sites, which were virtually worthless before hand, are now literally not worth touching. The sites I've run so far since the patch have returned an approximate value of 2.5 million Isk at Jita prices (excluding the worthless BPC's), including multiple cans that provided a single carbon.

I understand they needed to be nerfed, and the occasional "Jackpot" BPC is meant to make up for it, but I thin they might have gone a bit too far down the ladder.

The FW changes to plexes aren't right.

In my Light Missile Breacher, I've killed literally hundreds of players in Dessies, faction frigates and even the odd cruiser, solo. My skills are almost perfect for this ship and I have a proper pvp fit. However, I am unable to kill the new frigate rat in a Novice plex with my Breacher.

This obsession with pandering to the anti-farmer lobby has seriously damaged solo play in FW plexes. A member of the militia can engage in a defensive plex, but it has seriously damaged his ability to engage in PvP in an offensive plex. Be it against a war target or a neutral.

I didn't think it was actually possible to kill farming, unless of course you made it very difficult to do offensive plexing solo and that is what you have actually done. I can see a very stagnant warzone coming out of this. Minmatar hold 51 of the 69 systems in our warzone, so I'm alright Jack (LP wise). But I genuinely feel for the Amarr, they are already thin on the ground, this is not going to help get GFs

I agree with this. The plexes are now too hard to conquor. Rats are hard to kill and they respawn every 2 mins (in small's anyway). It means less solo players doing offensive plexing. I believe that this will mean that it will take an awful long time for systems to change hands and there will be less GF's to be had.

My favourite addition to the game with this patch was the warp-in.

Those thumps and flashes add a lot to the cinematic feel.

very happy and impressed with the expantion and cant wait for the rest coming in 6weeks.

A lot of people have posted complaints about the drone changes and while I sympathize with some of their points I would like to point out a few things.

one of the stated goals of the drone changes was to make drones more accessible to newer/lower skilled players. I believe sincerely that they accomplished this goal perfectly. as someone that only trained a moderate amount into drones (enough for t2meds at decent levels and t1sentries) I now experience a marked increase in drone dps using faction sentries. where before I wouldnt touch ships like the typhoon, domi, gila, etc. I now find them to be extremely competitive without having to train for t2 sentries.

interestingly I have not lost the ability to use any drones or modules even considering I only had less than 1.5mill sp in drones(and didnt special train anything for the expantion). heck I bet even my good old mael has been improved for me through this patch and I fly a vargur with t2 guns and everything. its gonna be good having a reason to use medium drones other than hammers on my vargur and sentries other than gardes on ships like the mael/phoon.

fyi arty/sentry phoon with lmjd is actually pretty dang good for a pre marauder/pirate mission boat. also the phoon is super sexy now as is the moa. gonna get me a gila when the price dies down I hope. might even get a domi once it gets its facelift. ugly thing atm.

other than the drone changes the warp stuff makes the whole universe feel more alive and way more imersive. if I alt tab out I can hear the universe breathe as I sit on station/gate. it really is sexy, makes me get the good tickles.

my indy alt is excited about the dst and blockade changes. as fun as the orca is I think ill like using the bustard more regularly now. already bought one before the patch. also prospect frig, all of my yes, ALL OF IT.

I am however sad about the delay in getting starbase defence management prereq changes. also still unsure about the freighter changes but dont have one so will have to wait and see.

ps. sorry about the lack of capitalization. typed this on a phone.

also the lensflare is pretty cool too.

Installation completed successfully but the client reported errors on startup.

After clearing cache and running client repair there were no errors and the game started normally without problems. I haven't noticed any lag.

Keep up the good work, thanks for the expansion P

Hi,

When using the new (updated) Survey Scanner module, the survey results window grabs the focus from your overview, but does not accept any keyboard input afterwards.

So, if you hit the survey module via keyboard, you are stuck on that window without being able to issue any commands via keyboard, even the shortcut for 'set overview focus' does not work. You have to click constantly, with the mouse, on the overview, to return functionality to the client if you're mainly using the keyboard to input commands.

Also, you cannot interact with the window in any way such as giving it target lock commands, approach, and so forth, via keyboard. Only the mouse works (via right clicking), but it hijacks your keyboard input when the scanner completes and the window pops up with "focus" on it. It does not accept or register keyboard input.

So if your shortcut for the survey module was "1", you would hit 1 on your keyboard with the overview selected, for example, then the scan completes, and if you hit 1 on your keyboard again, nothing happens. Because keyboard input is not registering when focus is on the survey scanner results window - which it automatically grabs after the module completes its cycle. Hitting the 'set overview focus' shortcut does not break you out of being completely locked out of keyboard input. Gotta click click click, then click somewhere else if you want to be able to issue keyboard commands.

Also, on a minor note, the module cycle does not update correctly. The circle will complete its full round cycle, then do another quarter cycle even though the module has not been activated a second time, then it resets. An odd little visual display bug.

Update was smooth and without any complications so well done for that. Love the lens flare and warp in/out effect. Messing around with the audio levels is handy but pity you can't (yet) save a certain mix.

I have only 512k m³ cargohold in my Obelisk instead of 900k m³. But so far, no rig slots an my Obelisk...
Gotta be kidding?

Furthermore, my Mackinaw has serious cap/wapr range issues, although I have maxxed out Nav skills and Exhumers 5.....

Why don't you just nerf every ship but catalysts? They were alway and will always be OP....

Besides those crappy nerfs, kudohs for removing those unbelievably awesome spew containers in exploration sites, now just make scanning more difficult again, so that it is worth again to train for all lv5 and so that the loot tables can be set to "normal"...

I haven't experienced any techincal issues so far, except that I found the new NES Button in my neocom, which I instantly deleted as I have customized my GUI for a reason...

So Scout Drone Ops[1x] and Combat Drone OPs[2x] became
Drone Avionics[1x] and Light Drone Op[1x] and Med Drone Op[2x]

So I actually gained an extra [1x] level 5 skill?

What is everyone complaining about????

What was the point in cutting cargo pretty much in half and adding low slots? With all the freighter ganking going on I was hoping that you would do something to help stop that and the low slots would help with having reinforced bulkheads to make it a little harder to pop but then with the cargo size you have to either make twice as many trips that puts you at more risk or use cargo expanders on and end up with a ship that is more vulnerable.

It use to be that if things got to hard in null sec you could always go back to high sec and mission and mine in relative safety but that is not true anymore. I have tried to get several of my friends to try Eve but they all give up because starting out they can't hardly do anything without losses right of the bat and they get discouraged and give up. With getting your loot taken from missions and people blowing up your miners and everything else that is going on it empire makes it really hard for new players. You can't even move your mins to Jita without someone blowing up your hauler.

Feedback related to the new sound interface options Tab:

I use a very specific volume for each type of sound:

Music 10
UI Sound 100
UI Speech 15
World 15
Master 100


When i was told that the sound tab in options was going to be revamped i kinda thought devs would use common sense and include a small square where you can type the level number because sliding the slider its a pain in the ass when you wanna narrow it down to the milimeter...


But nope...


So disapointed.

its not in the base stats, though drone stats on active ships have always been unreliable so its a bit hard to tell.

Also, Geckos got an indirect 25% damage nerf since every other drone had its damage increased by ~33% to compensate for the Drone Interfacing Skill reduction to 10%, and geckos damage wasn't changed. they're still the best heavy drone in most situations though.

I'm ambivalient about the new release. Yeah the drone damage nerf sucks, but I can deal with it. The new warp effects are sexy. The new sound menu has potential, I haven't played with it much though. New phoon and moa are nice, and I absolutly love the new condor model.

The Mordus frig is nice, but am I the only one who feels the cruiser and battleship models look unfinished? I remember equivalent textures out of games 10 years ago, pointless 2d feeling ribbons and flying frying pan models included.
