Yeah… I wish they'd nerf them like that roughly 8 times more. I'd be invincible (well… aside from against anyone else who happens to own a Gurista ship). Oh, and if you really dislike your Worms or Gilas, I'll take them off your hand for, say, 25M and 100M respectively. It's a fair price for a nerfed ship, don't you say? P

I dont see how people say it is not a nerf?
I used to have the option to carry various types of drones, 5 of each light, med, heavy, sentries and salvagers. now I cannot.
giving them a bonus does not make up for it.
I don't see where they increased drone defense to make them live longer?. so all it takes is to lose one sentry and I may as well warp out because I cannot replace it?
I used to have 166km missle range, and now I have 111km range. (havent even checked yet what they may have done to my drone control range) there goes my sniper boat.. and total dps only went up by less than 100. that is far from making up for the loss in range.
plus it will make missions take longer due to back-tracking when the MJD takes me out of range of most targets and I have to slow boat back into range. (bet they didn't lower the range of NPC's)
i'm guessing someone is going to say: well don't use a MJD! pfft.
I noticed someone said there was an HP bonus in there somewhere? well my ehp went down by 1k from where it was before... so I dont think so..
this is a hit to anyone who plays as a sniper/drone boat pilot in a rattlesnake/Gilla. anyone that disagrees I think does not play in that style or spends too much time doing math in EFT to comprehend reality.

really? a ton of drone boats? or are you saying the same effect in dps and we were just dumb to train for months in drones?
that shows you aren't a drone boat pilot, because there is a slim selection really with a full drone bay and BW, especially now.. you could probably count them on one of your homer simpson hands.
including the 1.6bill isk nestor..
not to mention the Racial training needed to jump into an alternative ship.
I trained up for missles, shields, drones and long range sniping skills exclusively for a very long time now.
just as I am almost maxed out they pull the rug out..
that how it feels. and that is why I can sympathize with the OP

I love seeing the flood of derision whenever someone says they're quitting the game.

I don't plan on quitting myself, but the writing's on the wall. A few more layoffs and the fanboys here won't have a forum to be derisive on.

No, then they'll all sit around at home wearing black and whining on other forums about how eve was a game gaming was not yet ready for, and make poorly thought out comparisons between Incarna and NGE.
