Favourite might be a strong word. I think each expansion has its own merits (except maybe Alchemy) and playstyle. I love Dark Ages for the hateful and complex nature of most of the cards, Guilds for the amazingly boss gold coins that come with it, Seaside is wonderful generally, and quite "nice", haven't played much Prosperity or Hinterlands. Favourite cards are, in no order, Chapel, Gardens, Lab, Nobles, Cultists, Council Room.


We were thinking about getting Seaside! Our obsession with dominion has limited us branching out into other games. I have an untouched copy of net runner that I keep trying to get people to play.

I also have a bit of a fantasy of putting together a somewhat eve themed board game. I have some of the basics down, but have no previous experience messing around with board game creation fantasies.


Netrunner is GREAT. You should find DelegateZero or Merc at Fanfest and get them to give you a game :) Lebowski, Antiquarian and I are also players but we're noobs...

I was going to write something snarky about passing all the bad things other devs are doing, But CCP Goliath just makes sure that the game functions, not that the game is good.

I just hope that I'm right that he wasn't responsible for putting a pass on the game breakingly bad Incarna.

Its not possible to please all the people all the time, but it sure as hell is possible to Displease all the people, most of the time.

I read about M:tG and Netrunner. Have you ever played the Richard Garfield game CCP holds publishing rights over? It defenitely needs some love. What would I have to do to get you fixed?

VTES? I played Jyhad (original printing) a bunch. The cards were the inkiest I have ever seen :) It was a pretty fun game, kinda blending in with the non-M:TG, Netrunner, L5R CCGs I dipped into at the time though (Deadlands, Starwars, Middle Earth, etc). Have you played the EVE CCG?
