Clearly OP hasn't played a game where developers say they are going to be coming out with content then just disappear off the face of the map and leave the community to rot. CCP may not be going fast in the direction YOU want, but they are constantly adding things to the game. I don't care how small the additions are, I'm just glad they are here, and implemented when the developer says they will be.

CCP ignore me please, I make too much sense.

It took me 60 seconds to experience all the new content from the latest "expansion". That's 10 seconds for each month of development time. I am tired of tweaks masked as expansions, expansions should give you new challenges and things to explore. I find it hard to believe that in six months the best CCP can do is change some ship stats, and add some arbitrary changes. EVE is what it is because CCP were risk takers, they made a game that most could only dream of, but now I fear you are playing it too safe.

Please discuss.

This thread is coming off like Watch_Dogs.

It started out trying to deliver, got lost in the midgame, and ends with a cliche.

7.2 CAN I AVOID PVP COMPLETELY? No; there are no systems or locations in New Eden where PvP may be completely avoided. --Eve New Player Guide

No it didn't. You've never been guaranteed a single expansion.

Unless you flew every single Mordu's ship in combat dozens of times each in 60 seconds, you are flat out lying.

That's not even accounting for the T2 venture and shitload of retexturing and other graphical overhauls now in the game.

"EVE is a dark and harsh world, you're supposed to feel a bit worried and slightly angry when you log in, you're not supposed to feel like you're logging in to a happy, happy, fluffy, fluffy lala land filled with fun and adventures, that's what hello kitty online is for." -CCP Wrangler

What he means is that he didn't log in to massive zerg raid content like they have in other games. There was no new helpful NPC to hand him things to do.

I feel you are incorrect

This is one of the better expansions in recent times.

Compared to what expansion means in the gaming industry, this is very much like the extra board, 6 x extra ship cards, 24 x counters, extra rulebook and errata sheet that is entirely standard

Besides, what do you want for free?

180$ a year....is not free sweetheart

When you go back to WoW, be sure to tell Blizzard that they don't need money for the next expansion, you already paid for it with your subscription.

I feel tortured by that outburst

"Yea, some dude came in and was normal for first couple months, so I gave him director." - Sean Dunaway

"A singular character could be hired to penetrate another corps space... using gorilla like tactics..." - Chane Morgann

Ignoring the outburst, answering the question.

Is it smaller? Yup

Why? Because the next one is coming in 6 weeks, and another after that, about six weeks later. You are not taking 6 MONTHS between things to complain about but six WEEKS

While I agree to an extent with your statement. I question as to what kind of "Content" you desire. PVE (Missions, cosmos sites, etc.), more systems added to the universe, more modules, what?

CCP has delivered over the last several years:

New ships
New ship classes
Better graphics
New modules
New skills
Sov
Wormholes
A CQ door we can't open
NPC AI upgrades
Faction Warfare

The area of "Content" I would like to see more effort put into would be PVE. Lets add new missions, new mission arcs, random missions added. Lets get NPC space changes based upon player met FW missions. Give PVE a little lovin. It has been sorely neglected for years now.
