Since they're Tech 2 you need Tech 2 blue print copies, you can get these by doing invention on a T1 Blue Print Copy.
And then someone has to go actually build them and start selling them.

So really what this means is that nobody has bothered or succeeded in doing those things so far, give it a day or two.

Here's the wiki article on invention:

The Prospect is a T2 ship.

It will start to appear on the market after invention from the Venture blueprint has been successful and the hulls produced.

Id give it a day or two.

As stated in the devblog, Prospect BPCs are invented from Venture BPCs. It will take some time for players to invent a couple of Prospect BPCs and manufacture them. The earliest ones you could get are usually in Jita, but I'd advise not to buy too early because new ships tend to be heavily overpriced in the first couple of days.

I know a guy, who knows a guy. For ten million and two tickets to the Jita Hall of Fame Ball, I can set something up.

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

To pass the time until you can buy one, let your imagination wander with dreams of battle fit Prospects.

Especially when it can light up cov-ops cyno Twisted Think twice before attacking that frigate deep inside nullsec, even if it's your own space Pirate

Obvious bait is obvious. This ship is quite stupid.

Personally, I think it's hilarity-in-a-box.

You're looking for a serious purpose? That, I don't have.

Yes, it has the potential for quite a few devious and clever uses.

I am looking forward to seeing these not be flown in lowsec and 0.0. I do hope I am wrong but it seems like its a class of ship with very little real use, you sneak in, take 10k ore then have to fly back to low/highsec to sell the ore, how is that time effective when you can just pay for a mining permit and mine safely in highsec and make more isk an hour.

I like the concept, just not the ship itself.

I know that it will be used in wormholes. That's at least one intended use.

On a side note... paying for mining permit? In highsec? Sorry, but that's not how it works. If you want to rent the system, you rent in nullsec. BTW. yes, I know of those "permits" and CODE. ... I'm just wondering when did EVE players became so soft to even consider paying something like a ransom for mining in highsec. Ugh

Who in their right mind pays for a permit to mine LOL
You do know you CAN refine in a POS and you DON'T have to flyback to hisec
With the cov ops cloak and the ability to light a cov ops cyno and bridge in a fleet of ships I personally see a lot of use for this ship.
I look forward to seeing these little buggers all over the place.

People who don't want to lose there ships to The New Order, pay for permits.

You ever refine in a pos? Takes forever and costs a ton of pg/tf to run the high end refining array. The lowend array loses way to much ore to poor refining rate.

Besides that point, what makes you think I will let you keep your pos in my space?

If you are in my space and renting or a friend then you don't need a prospect to mine and would be better off in a barge.

Yes, the thing can use cov op cloak and cyno, it can also use the blop JB, so you get a little 4 ly range, The question is, is it worth the effort to use that blop and jump a few prospects around, when you can make just as much if not more isk in highsec mining in a barge.

The only time I see this ship in serious use is in pvp.

The invention job takes over 12 hours in a POS.
That's just the invention job, which has a high failure chance.

That's before we can even start building them.

One of the guys I fly with said the best case scenario is about 30 hours before the first ones can appear, given the 12 hours you mention plus about 18 hours mfg time. He said anything before that means that CCP gave someone a helping hand.

This ship is not really about the profit, it's about the minerals... .
