I'm working on it.

"EVE is a dark and harsh world, you're supposed to feel a bit worried and slightly angry when you log in, you're not supposed to feel like you're logging in to a happy, happy, fluffy, fluffy lala land filled with fun and adventures, that's what hello kitty online is for." -CCP Wrangler

To post a New Topic:

Step 1: Look to see if this has been posted before. Go beyond first pages in multiple subforums. Look at stickies and Devblogs. (Eliminates 80% of troll responses right off the back.)

Step 2: Use Search function to see if this has been posted before. (Eliminates 50% of remaining troll responses.)

Step 3: Use Google to see if this was posted before, or if it answers your question eliminating the reason for thinking about posting. (Eliminates 40% of remaining troll responses.)

Step 4: Repeat steps 1-3 to be absolutely sure. (Eliminates 20% of troll responses per pass of steps 1-3 and 90% of instant thread lockages.)

Step 5: Determine which correct category your post would belong in. If its an idea for a feature, chances are that Features and Ideas (F&I) is a better fit than General Discussion. (Eliminates 95% of FuryBot responses.)

Step 5: Fully form your thoughts to make sure that you can properly articulate what you are trying to convey. (Maximizes helpful responses, eliminates 85% of Wat?™)

Step 6: Read over the post, make sure it sounds good to you. Perhaps run it by a co-worker or random stranger in the coffee shop. If it makes sense to them, itll make sense to other people (your cat is not a good proof reader). Use spellcheck, capitals, punctuation and paragraphs. (Eliminates 95% of grammar Nazi responses and 15% of remaining Wat?™) Make sure your post doesn't violate any forum rule (Eliminates 75% of remaining thread lockages.)

Step 7: Make sure you really want to post this. (Not posting eliminates 100% of troll responses.)

Step 8: Copy the entire post. This way you can put it all back again if the forum eats your post. (Eliminates the AARGH forums ate my post now I need to quickly retype it and it doesn't sound right anymore but I don't care here it goes good luck everyone.)

Step 9: Make sure you really need to post this. (Not posting eliminates 100% of troll responses.)

Step 10: Create title with real words showing actual intent of post. (Eliminates 10% of remaining troll responses.)

Step 11: Submit. (Opens you up to feedback both positive and negative.)

Reminders: Just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't mean they are trolling.

Asking for Dev response does not guarantee a Dev response, nor does it entitle you to a Dev response.

Just because someone is a known Forum Troll does not mean they are wrong or necessarily trolling.

70% of all numbers posted on forums are complete bull**** 93% of the time.

And remember, with your help we can reduce New Topic abuse and raise Search Function awareness.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

I am the hero that General Discussion deserves, not the hero General Discussion needs.

No, that would be me...Cool

Quite the opposite.

We need you, and we really don't deserve you. Also goat sacrifice.

One of ours, ten of theirs.

Best Meltdown Ever.
