Sound in Windowed Mode not quite right

When in windowed mode and not the focus window the docking station voice is not heard until focus is restored to the Eve window.

So when already docked and then window selected it says the docking spiel- docking requested etc.

The ambient sounds etc play OK - I do have advanced sound settings enabled, Windows 8.1, Dell Inspirion 15z, all latest drivers
