It is the lot of us miners to deal with the gankers. It is our lot to create -- theirs to destroy. In a market sense, they do help stimulate the economy, so no problems. Without them, people wouldn't need to replace their ships, and thus we would have complete stagnation.

Viva la EVE!

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear.

The other day I was mining in a 0.5 system when a bloke in a destroyer tried to gank me. It didn't work, my buffer was big enough to let me survive until the arrival of Concord and he lost his ship. I felt pretty bad already, so I sent him a symbolic 1m ISK to cover at least the cost of the hull, but then in local I saw that someone popped his capsule on the way back to his home base, whatever that is, which really felt rather unfair

Is there a reasonable way I can tell the guy I'm sorry that things went so badly? Seriously, I am not being sarcastic, i suspect he was not very experienced and things went probably worse than he deserved, for which I am truly sorry

what was the system name?
