Except that it wasn't. She started posting excessively inflammatory material here before you got your first set of NIS implants - or whatever the hell it is you people are using these days - and kept doing it. When you attack someone, or threaten to attack someone, they go on the defensive, and often strike back.

And when you're the one who made the first aggressive move, it's really pretty dumb to complain when people respond to you in the fashion you set as the bar.

If you think all these things, if Kim is such a horrid individual, why respond to her? Why do you need to keep her in check if her actions speak for themselves and discredit herself?

I don't think I agree that the distinction is an important one. Doesn't matter if it's a little hiss or an eruption of glowing plasma, reactors only vent coolant when the pressure's too high.

Also, the intensity of the venting DOES in fact, matter. If the situation isn't so frustrating, people vent in little jabs and cuts. If someone is literally so perpetually frustrated by something they claim is irrelevant, and they vent with long, toxic essays...
