This is an huge red flag and moves your risk figure well above the 1.8% you are paying in interests. I am even surprised Chribba is accepting this strategy, as he exposes himself a lot. I mean, he could indeed just say "sorry guys, things went bad and investee defaulted, now I refund just 420B instead of 500B". HE is going to get tarnished if he'll do that so he'd have to put hands in his own pockets and not for pocket's change!

And even then, how in hell did the super low 1.8% interest rate come from? It's compatible with a "I only buy BPOs" kind of investment not with speculation using more speculation to self-leverage up. It's a castle of cards, like we have seen enough with 2008 creative finance.

That's why I sent you my money to begin with. and why I did not ask it back.

I still feel the urge - maybe because of my past role of auditor - to caution against making self leverage a custom. It has a non zero systemic risk.

Basically, taken to the extreme consequences, creative and malign usage of these practices can downgrade the current "100% faith" in collateralized bonds. A Bad Bobby grade mind could create a large fully collateralized bond that would implode and basically remove the last MD "safety belief": that full collateral is a safe investment.

I agree with the what you say VV and would like to add that in regards to full collateral i have stated before and will state again that even full collateral IF NOT HELD by the one who loans out the isk himself still should be seen as a risky investment.

I do not know chribba from anything else then his ''rep'' so my investment trust in him is based on a ''belief of safety'' wich could well be a ''false belief of safety'' just as it is with any other known third party.Even if i know grendell a bit more from my investments or darknesss from our old time in pure blind the trusted third parties are nothing more then ''believably safer then the one loaning the isk in the first place''.

The only safe investment there is is loaning out isk at a collateral YOU hold and wich is worth a LOT more then the loaned out isk.And these type of investments are a rarity at least for me .

But then doing only that would also remove the fun from doing investments in the first place .

This means that bond is now full.



I have offered Chribba to add more collateral, so that every can sleep a little better - and he has accepted.
I'll try to have this sorted ASAP, but will take some time.



To make my work a little easier - I will be offering all in investor that has already made payments before today, to have an interest payout for those day already invested, up to today. That way I will have less dates to keep track of.

This interest payout will be calculated like this :
1,8% / 30 days * number of days invested to date + rounded up


I will be sending a mail to these investors too.

And it's not even directly connected to any of the F&I ideas even

The whole collateral likely rose with more than 10% today alone



IF the investment goes as well as hoped - I will pay out an extra bonus to investors at the end

Some of the items have gone better than expected, so the first 100b is already ready to be repaided.

Unless there are others that want to cash out now - flakeys will be the one getting them.

Id like to cash out as late as possible, Im happy I finally found an opportunity to invest some ISK and reap some interest pay out :P

Since everyone seems to be happy - I will try to see if I can find something to use the ISK for, so I can keep it running at max amount for some more time.
