Any reason why...

...we can't see remaining time in days/hours etc on our main accounts like we can on alt training accounts? I mean really, you have a nice little icon on the character selection menu that tells you exactly how long your secondary training is active.

Then in the character menu under the fairly useless 'pilot license' tab the expiration time for secondary training accounts is also listed. For the longest time this tab just said 'your pilot license is in order' (of course it is because you're logged in). But main account? If you even want to check it you go out of game to the account reference page.

In before the tens of forum people telling you stop crying.

Also...wish this was true. Some of us use actual money to fund multiple accounts. Only PLEX accounts offer this service.

I've... seen things you people wouldn't believe...  Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those... moments... will be lost in time, like  tears... in... rain. Time... to die...

That's.... actually a pretty good point.

Sounds like a "little things" candidate if ever I heard one.

This would be a nice feature. I guess CCP thinks the email reminder is all you need, but a countdown would be nice.

I ran into this issue playing on one of my characters yesterday. I knew the account would expire that day, but didn't know exactly when and couldn't see it anywhere in the character sheet. I ended up having to go to the account management page to find out exactly how much time was left. It's kinda nice to know, so I don't get disconnected in the middle of combat. It's info that should be available in-game.

Well, as a work around, EveMon supplies a date for when your account expires. It's what I use, but yes...having something ingame you can check at a glance to know when that account expires. Hell, even when you use a plex for account time, it doesn't even tell you anymore what the new expiration date is for your account like it use to...what gives, CCP? We even have a timer for clone jumping down to the very second when you can jump again.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

Yup. It's hidden away in all kinds of strange places, but not where it would be most obvious to show it. Hell, it shouldn't even be “hidden” as far in as inside the client, but shown right in the launcher once you select an account — just ping the launcher with an expiry date along with the “login successful” message every time you click the play button to make sure it's always up to date.

+1!! Yes I agree OP, there should be a way to see that on the login screen and it sure make a difference in knowing ahead of time. Thanks for bringing this idea up.

Technically, it's in the account API and EVEMON will tell you this information.

Which means it should be relatively simple to show it on the log in screen or in game, where it belongs.

Good idea. Might be worth adding it to the Little Things list so it this doesn't get moved to F&I and buried in all the other stuff.

This has come up in the F&I section time and again. The latest DEV response that I can recall was, 'it would break the verisimilitude'. The silliest excuse I had heard in a long time.

I wish this would be implemented. It could even work for us CC users. It could perhaps show when the next payment would hit our CC.
