hey,
is there any reason that Cyclones and Ospreys are sold ~25-30% below profit value of a very well researched blue print ?

Yup :-( Want some Cyclones?

To be more specific, when the ships were rebalanced, the mineral requirements were increased (and I'm mostly speaking for the Cyclone, not too familiar with the Osprey market, but probably the same thing)

The changes were known ahead of time and manufacturers built thousands (or more) of the ships in preparation. The ships didn't turn out to be all that popular, so the stock piles are still selling very, very slowly. These were built for the old manufacturing costs, which were well below the current costs.

Same problem with the Procurer, same problem with the Armageddon.

Dont expect any change in that for quite some time. I know people who are still sitting on billions in cyclones :p

The Coreli Corporation is recruiting.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't CCP state that they would get rid of those extra materials in the Industry-Revamp? So players should be abled to refine their stockpiles of ships into the higher amount of minerals then(mind the refining-changes of course).

May ECM ships forever be the answer to the question " Is solo pvp a good thing?".

that's correct

osprey costs with old material in todays prices: 3.8m
extra material: 4.5m

total: 8.3m

expected reprocessing value after crius:

4.15m

"free" minerals when build before tiericide and refined after crius: 315m/osprey

yay

This . . . and we are no were close to the Osprey price recovering . . .
Of the ships I produced, the Osprey has been the slowest to recover.
(I invested heavily in cruiser/frigate logistics and battleships with minor investments in the rest of the cruisers/battlecruisers).

I've managed to unload everything expect for the Ospreys. Back of the envelope guess we are looking at 300K unit backlog of Osprey which means the price should start to recover in less than 18 months.

Turns out that the BPOs themselves were a significant part of profits from the endeavor.
