Apparently Belarus is bringing back serfdom. http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/volokh-conspiracy/wp/2014/06/02/the-road-to-serfdom-goes-through-minsk/ (Sorry for the blog link, but the other articles are either pay walled or in Russian.). Can any of the Russian speakers confirm that this isn't some sort of Slavic version of the Onion?

I thought this was an interesting parallel what with all the serf/slumlord propaganda in EvE's recent past and the current neo-feudalism model dominating null sec
