Anakin did bring balance to the force, there were way to manny self righteous light side dudes, this increased chaos; the bane of human development.

If SW followed eve rules han solo would be a flying a speedy t1 hauler nano / inertia in ghe lows with warpspeed rigs.

the deathstar would be a N3/PL or CFC Titan pilot failing at selfdestruct chicken while beeing bait waiting for a subcap fleet to clear a HERO atron fleet

Star Wars is unrealistic anyways...

Take Han Solo, for example. Since when do -10.0 lowsec pirates give a damn about sov warfare?

Er... The princess.... Han was on a mother booty call, son.

You're right!

EVE desperately needs a cute Mittanette... or maybe a sexy Gratha... though some may prefer a lively Jane 315.

Well, the tracking on elite storm troopers is notoriously bad, I mean it's like wathcing a Brave Newbie Rifter trying to hit a Titan :) .

But Star Wars is a movie. In order to get to it's conclusion (ie a smal ragtag group of scruffy white kids suported by pissed off spear chucking teddy bears and a couple androids ,one of whom must be an illegal, R2-D2 speaky no english) the movie makers had to use every stupid miracle trope in history, Like:

Spaceships advanced enough to conquer galaxies but not advanced enough to destroy a tramp freighter (Milinium Falcon) as it 'evades' by flying slightly to the right of said advanced spaceships.

The aforementioned Elite Soldiers with ENERGY WEAPONS that can't kill dudes standing out in the open 10 meters away

Magical Powers (enough said lol)

And on and on. Star Wars is a lesson for MMO game makers: the ONLY way to make the underdog win is to make the game so ridiculas and arbitray that Jar Jar Binks shows up and seems to fit in.

I would love to see how Han Solo could have done the Kessler Run in 12 Parsecs in any system!

Hear hear

The Rebel propagandists cite the bombardment of Alderaan but I put it to the Haig that they were part of the Rebel Alliance and a traitor, take her away!

Further, they were harbouring a WMD (at least one Jedi)

The Empire saved the galaxy from a unilateral order of religious space wizards and installed order to the quadrant.

Slavery on Tattooine? Not under Imperial rule!

Jar Jar Binks never fit in. Never. And you should feel bad for saying that.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

Admiral Ackbar: Worst FC ever.

I'm STILL wondering how the Empire managed to arm all those Minmatar Shuttles and call them TIE Fighters...

A good portion of one film takes place ENTIRELY in an asteroid belt and not ONE miner around? Or maybe it had something to do with the humongous worm living in one of the asteroids.

On that note, why did the Empire use Bombers to flush out the Falcon when they should have used an army of Mining Barges? Popped roids disappear until DT, you know.

The Rebels shouldn't have been able to win using Star Wars physics... Not sure why I should be sad that Eve physics don't support the nonsense that takes place in George Lucas' brain.

The second Death Star would have been bumped out of the shield by the Executor. Which obviously would have negated the need to rely on DUST 514 players to shoot something other than a forum thread.

You know that scene aboard the Millennium Falcon where Han and Luke were manning the quad laser turrets and shooting down[1] TIE fighters? Under EVE mechanics they would have run to the turrets, shift clicked to lock a target and then pressed F1. A bit less dramatic though.

[1] Yeah, yeah, there's no down in space.

The Trade Federation alliance (from episodes I-III) would have been mass-banned for botting. Which would have eliminated the need for Episodes I, II, and III, thus making the world a better place.

"you go rescue the princess I'll hold them off at this.. door."
"how do I get to the princess...?"
"easy she's being held on the other side of this door...."
"hello, situation normal - were all fine here.. could you just bring the princess to the door please?"
"she's outside.. just open the door and grab her.."
"how do I open the door?"
"use the force Luke"
"I did"
"what, a Jedi Mind blast?"
"no, I kicked it"
"I guess we have to wait for a future expansion to save the princess.."
"...I'm going back to Tatooine."

But they never would have gotten to the door in the first place. The Death Star caught the Millennium Falcon in a tractor beam and pulled it aboard. In EVE, tractor beams only work on ship wrecks and 'cans (despite all the comments about the Falcon being a hunk of junk, it was still a ship.)

Therefore, the Falcon would have been free to escape the Death Star, thus leaving Princess Leia to die at the hands of the Imperial Erotica1 torture-droid.
