I saw somebody spamming Hulkathon info around Jita but was looking for some details.

1. When does it start?
2. Will there be a score keeper?
3. Will there be prize categories? Like Most, Best Kill Mail, most kills on same pilot, etc

I'm looking at around 2nd week of januari for that at the moment,

Yes, there will be a custom API-based killboard to keep track of score.

There will be a payout per 10 hulks for starters, then there is the usual prizes for top 3 individual, top 3 corp, top 3 junior league (non T2 miners). As well as several achievement based prize categories.

I'm not sure yet if I'll also include a random jackpot, though I'm quite fond of that one.

This year it's not only the 42-km Hulkathon. The 2012 games also include hulklethics, hulkminton, hulktathlon, hulk polo, hulklifting, and hulkastics.

oh goody ive gotten bored of killing npcs and want to ruin an actual persons day now i have an actual reason to do it in high sec instead of trying to hunt down someone in low/null

Yes, there will be figure hulking, and there will also be synchronized hulking, which is my favorite hulkympic sport.

While I enjoy Figure Hulking, I find the performances of the 'Dying Macknaws on Ice' far more entertaining.

A Hulkathon is an event where, during Hulkageddon, miners ask for donations to buy new hulks by spamming Jita local and the captain's quarters' TV.

OMFG jsut pay for wardec and you can kill them year round and never get concorded why blow up a good arty ship now with no insurance payout for nothing, and best part of wardec is the silly carebears get toghter in there fail fit pvp ships and try kill you rofl. and bam 20 kills in a hour.
