Whats the difference between SATA, SATA II, SATA III and eSATA? I'm trying to find a SSD for this and im not sure what will work or not.

For the SSD i was looking at this SSD because of the super sale.

Why Can't I have a picture signature.

Also please support graphical immersion, bring back the art that brought people to EvE online originaly.

They are backwards compatible, so if you get something that is a SATA III, it'll work into a SATA II system. It just won't transfer data at SATA III speeds. The way prices go on SSD, they are about the same price no matter the SATA version, so go with the fastest, maybe later if you get a faster system you can transfer it over. Otherwise, it's just generational, 3's are faster than 2's as far as connection/transfer speeds etc.

edit: as for the links, yes they are SATA III's

ok next question G-Skill ram or Corsair Same question as before will it work with the motherboard in OP.

It's been a while since i built a machine so i nee to get some info Big smile

I'd assume so, mobo reads "DDR3 2400(OC)/2250(OC)/2200(OC)/2133/1866/1600/1333" and the memory is "DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000)"

eSATA.
If! I remember correctly it is SATA with a power. Basically it is for external devices like external hd, etc. This is convenience/sex appeal, you plug your external hd to your pc and you don't need an extra power cable with a brick to plug into the wall.

Hard to say about the RAM.

Are you going to match RAM speed to CPU speed?

Ok what do you think? I havent built a rig in nearly 8 years so be gentle with the harsh comments lol. Also, I dont over clock anything. But I would like reccomendations on 3rd party processor fans.

Well, if memory speed matters, if you can hold off a little longer DDR4 is about to come around later this year.

Of course that's memory vs your budget since it will no doubt cost more than DDR3 and so will the mobo's most likely.
