So I have a good system where I do lvl 4 missions, and I'd like to mission there indefinitely, but since Ive done so many missions there, the agents standing towards me is nearing 10, after which I have to find another system;

IdeaSO i had idea!Idea
Decline some missions from the agent and work back towards ten, rinse and repeatBig smile

Only thing is after about 10 declines, and my standing towards agent reaching about 7, Suddenly standing drops to -2.2 ! Sad

How do I fix this issue to be able to work for this lvl 4 agent again???
Help!

This. How'd you get the idea that you have to stop at 10? Standings stop increasing but the jobs never stop flowing.

Well, looks like you screwed the pooch with that one.

Training Diplomacy might help. If it's already at level 5 then the only way to gain access to that agent again is to fleet up with someone who is currently working that agent and share rewards. Shouldn't take more than a couple of missions to get back above -2.00 standing with the agent.

After getting above -2.00 and able to access the agent again yourself, don't mess around with the decline option again.

Why would you think they'd stop giving missions? That is an interesting made-up rule.

That's funny!
If that was the case I wouldn't be able to do missions with quite a few agents

Did you put in a support ticket or it just did that on its own?

I'm glad it worked out for you!

That is funny and sort of interesting at the same time.

Btw, if you get your faction standings up and do a storyline or 3 a month, you pretty much pick whatever missions you like the most from your agents.

back in the day, i used to play anno 1404. there were two diplomatic options in the game, 'flatter' and 'insult'. while insult had a long-ish cooldown, flatter could be repeated any number of times with an increasing chance of failure (which produced the same exact result as insult). not sure if there is a moral there, i'm just an old man rambling...

I should buy an Ishtar.
