I love the sound of the new ships and other things coming in the update.

Would like to know if CCP will make a PvE only subscription of 1/3 the price because there is 2/3rds of the game I will never use?

Within the EVE universe I have no interest or desire to kill other players, real life is a different story......

I wish they'd ended up a tad more black, but I still like them.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Have you considered making the Mordu belt spawns not automatically be red to everyone?

Surely capsuleers with high standing with Mordu's Legion should be seen by these spawns as neutral at least. Otherwise why have standing at all?

Awesome design. But I still like the Sansha ships more than these.

These spawns have an equal chance of appearing in all lowsec systems.

I am really looking forward to these. More stuff to fight over in lowsec belts = more predators and more prey = more chases and more fights.

How much firepower do you need to bring to down these rats?

Just want to varify:

I tested a Mordu's Legion site on the test server, and then the dev-blog states Mordu's Legion ships can also be found in asteroid belts, and I remember seeing the word 'hacking'Shocked mentioned somewhere.

So, is the Kronos expansion adding 3 different types of Mordu's Legion PVE or just 2?
PS If it is only two, I would recommend looking at the plausibility of a 3rd.
PPS You should also reconsider looking at the Marauders' tractor beam bonus, but I digress.

On the test server, you need ~650ish dps to break the Battlepancake's tank but it will take you forever to do the sites.
Assuming what was on the test server is what's released in Kronos, you would be better off doing the sites with a small group of players. (CCP +1 for group content.) As along as you are moving you should be able to tank the sites fairly easily.

Also worth noting, they were shooting lasers >70% of the time and fired missiles once in a blue moon, which I find hilarious.

A rise in Mordu’s Legion activity also fits EVE’s constantly evolving storyline rather well considering their bitter hatred for the Guristas who are also stepping up their game of late.

In the case of the Barghest, I believe that the familar phrase "TTP" now stands for "Time to Pancake."

I'm betting that a griddle like that can flip out pancakes at a pretty good rate.

Why a switch on/off? Because the new animation doesn't add anything to gameplay and it's graphically annoying. In other words, it's worse than bad: it's useless. Simple as that.     _ - Kina Ayami_

Ummm, superior range? Oh wait....its the same missile range as the CNR with just a tad bit more damage...

Nestor 2.0 i guess....yet another ship that is simply not worth the cost...

It's the same range but they get to their targets twice as fast (attribute after 200% bonus is twice as much as attribute after 50% bonus, since 300% = 2 * 150%).

One of the things about Mordu’s Legion that we are most excited about is the method by which the ships can be acquired. As usual, Mordu’s Legion LP stores will have them on offer, but we are also going to be adding some new Legion patrols to asteroid belts across all of low security space. Like other pirate faction commanders, these spawns will be fairly rare.Unlike other factions, Mordu’s Legion belt patrols will have 100% chance of dropping a blueprint for one of the new ships. This should make searching for Mordu’s Legion patrols an exciting and rewarding activity, and because it happens in low sec, we expect that it will also lead to an increase in player combat--which is always fantastic. A small note: there will be other Mordu’s Legion NPCs associated with some other new content in Kronos, but only the ones spawning in asteroid belts will drop BPCs for the Garmur, Orthrus and Barghest.

This is indeed an exciting new way to acquire rare/special items. My corp mates and i were discussed how this could revitalise low security space. We envisioned gangs roaming through low sec belts in search of the ship bpc or hunting people looking for the bpc.

I really hope that this is the shape of things to come and more special items are added to belt rat drops. However, I think it would be better if the specific bpc and mods drops were tied to a specific region. This would make each region feel a little more unique.

One question though - will these special blet NPCs have advanced AI (or abilities) to make it fun and challenging to acquire their loot or will they just be the run of them mill NPCs that anyone in a frigate can kill in a few shots?

... the next stage in making low sec awesome is to remove all high level incursion sites from highsec and add them to low sec.

Can we exchange the Concord LP from incursions at that single Mordus spacestation, like we can with the SOE faction for those new pirate ships ? Cool

Not going to happen.
CCP has to to give the vast majority of goodies to null sec, or they get very upset, and CCP is terrified of an angry null sec.
