The bar in question is a Mohorovicic geothermoelectric pile, and Kim is tracing the words on the underside with an index finger and her lips moving.

Mohoro-whozawhat now? O_o

the Mohorovicic discontinuity is where the crust on a geologically active terrestrial world gives way to semi-liquid mantle.

You're familiar with geothermal power? Well a thermoelectric generator creates electricity from a heat gradient. So a Mohorovicic geothermoelectric pile is a kilometers-long thermoelectric generator that creates usable energy from the temperature gradient between the mantle and the surface.

They were always more of a thought experiment than an actual technology. Any civilisation capable of building one would have perfected nuclear fission long beforehand, which is a much more efficient technology.

Oh, makes sense. Thanks Professor Stitcher!

I believe it's simply a difference of opinion where to set ones standards. Where some believe that human ignorance is a very low bar to set, to be overcome and surmounted through the real efforts of education, intelligence, and rational inquiry; others such as Diana Kim apparently believe that ignorance is something to be aspired to in order to achieve a state of complete absurdity immune to facts, logic, reason or indeed reality itself.

No, Gesakaarin, I don't aspire your ignorance.
On other hand, you, like all other traitor scum, revel in spewing bile and insults towards citizens of the State.
Luckily for us, they are empty just like your head.

Clearly a total lack of self-awareness is also a bar to which Kim aspires.

More like I aspire your unprecedented ability of pull out irrelevant insults out of your finger.
Maybe you would find something more important to do, instead of fabricating more lies and insults about me, go deeper into your wormhole, where you hide from serving duty to the State, to meet sleepers in c6 in just your pod with a handgun?..

In other words: please shut up and die!
Thank you!

A required trait I think to become the idiot-savant of Provist political satire.

The amusement Diana Kim provides though is not in the use of irony and wit to mock an social issue or ideology by pretending to subscribe to them but rather that they do in fact seem to really believe what it is they say and thus manage to only mock themselves oblivious to how stupid they appear to others.

It's really quite sublime.

But but but it's really good flowery contractual language.

...

Could someone point me to the contractual language, please. I don't think I've seen any since the days when Caldari corps were publishing their stance on Heth.

Hey, traitor, why wouldn't you go educate yourself, like, I don't know, learn to read combat reports for example, instead of blaming others in idiocy, while so far it was you, showing such traits, eh?
