Wormholes

Are there any good ones not based on certain corps public channels. I'm not talking about local but a global channel.

Honestly never looked in the 'wormholes' chat... I may try that out.

The Diogenes Club has the most, erm, on-topic activity (but it's wormholes, so 'on topic' is pretty lenient). Wormholes, being the official content channel from CCP, has the most people in it but it gets a lot of random spam, random newbies, and random questions, which is why it's not as on-topic as the Club.

And yea, <3 bobisgreat, but it's been too long since we've done a roam. We should totally fix that.

‘Wormholes’ actually does have a lot of conversation going on all the time. There are a few faces you’ll see regularly and sometimes (often) people will be selling wormholes or looking for particular ones. It’s not a bad channel to say “hi” and meet some folks.

‘The Diogenes Club' is more appropriately the new ‘wormhole colonists’ channel. "colonists" was an old channel created back in the day for the community that eventually faded away. Diogenes serves as a resource for what's going on in w-space with a moderately updated MOTD, and more "prominent presence" than 'bobisgreat' :P

‘bobisgreat’ is a channel created as a form up for fellow wormholers to enjoy fun roams and shenanigans in known space. I initially left it off the list as it has been rather inactive, as was pointed out. If Bert and Chitsa get it going again, it was a fun activity for wormhole residents.

‘Rainbow Knights’ is a channel that replaced ‘WHoverlords’ as the wormhole diplomatic channel. This channel isn’t an “open” channel, however if you are an active group that resides in wormhole space, you can contact ‘Hidden Fremen’, ‘Sith1s Spectre’, or pretty much the alliance/corp leader for any of the active “notable” groups to request access.

‘DTP Podcast’ is the pubchat for one of the podcasts that covers wormhole life, residency, and the overall community. This is a good channel to talk with the hosts, share ideas, and get involved.

I left the bobisgreat channel as it always resulted in people organising talwar roams and lame ****. The Diog channel is where the real wh discusions get going and Rolled Out is the best channel being our pub channel.
