Gallente/Caldari Zone - What's up at the moment?

I have been reading through some of the threads in W&T and it seem like there is always 'something' going on across the void from my home in the Amarr/Minmatar WZ. But aside from a few out of context snippets from the forums, and some (not so) recent articles/blogs I am almost completely unaware of the situation over there. So as the title suggests... Whats up in the Gallente/Caldari Zone at the moment?

Gallente leadership are sniping at each in a private mailing list trying to see who is more important and relevant and why we can't ship into something beyond t1 cruisers or derptrons or shield AFs.... It's Uncle Perunga vs the militia at the moment. It's pretty funny.

Civil war may just happen....

Would you care to come back and fight us? :)

I think Gallente took a few more systems in the past week. But what else is new?

I hope large plexes will make things exciting with Kronos but we'll see....

"I have no idea why you guys bother with this low level content ie fighting plex doctrine few months ago when i got us to tier 3 and was asking for a tier 4 push possible tier 5 you guys dint wana know now its justk blackfox sound the battle horns lets lock and load

Well have fun with it unless your gona go all the way and take every system then dont bother imo this is the issue with galmil the plex doctrine makes pilots think its ok to fly derp well lads it aint ok its fail i would rather whelp AF into derp fits hold feild then fly a derptron

so in future as i have more pressing matters to deal with ie real doctrines fights etc i ask that any deployemnt evemails be sent to Servilius Caepio who will head up C.Q.B plex fighting FC

and just so you dont think im a **** cause i know you guys will once you read this

When that justk pos was under attack it was C.Q.B that formed up to defend and then gave justk a pos in return some 300m per month liquid C.Q.B is here for the milita but im not gona lie i find very little interest in flying derp and blaping squids that are fail as ****

the CEO/FC of galmil should push bigger better doctrines not continue the new bro friendly derp doctrine you weaken our milita with this soft approuch FACT." - Anonymous Gallente FC

This is like 2009 all over again Smile

Thing is, everything has its place - from Derptrons upwards and no matter how hard you want or try you can not get people to change how hey want to play.

There is always the push to fly and use better and more expensive ships / doctrines etc within FW but because the playstyle of people is so varied its virtually impossible to enforce and manage.

God knows from my own experience we've tried over the years and you get labelled as elitist pr**** because you start to reject people into your fleets unless they not only have the right ship, but the right setup to go with it - if your interesting in not just fighting against the general caldari gangs but against the bigger entities in the area, ie Snuff Box etc then unless you are on your "A" game and have the right ships, fits, tactics etc you will get your arse handed to you every time by using kitchen sink fleets.

But, for most individuals this goes into the too hard pile as it requires omg, "effort".

Fair play to him for at least trying to do it and he does play and FC a ridiculous amount of hours every day, but all that will happen is that the pilots that are wiling to do it will gravitate towards joining his corp and the rest will slowly stop joining his fleets and carry on as normal. Before long he will notice that his fleets only consist of his corp members plus just 1 or 2 additional people.

Like I said at the beginning, everything has its place and for Gallente, either accept it and just go with it or try and do what Perunga is doing and end up alienating yourselves as being elitist pr**** Blink

What? Drama? In my EVE? NEVAR!

Nah, just the way things go sometimes. PERUNGA's a solid FC, and very good at his chosen style of play. It's not one that lends itself well to plex fighting, but he was there all weekend when we were pushing Kehjari and he's been along on the hub bashes as well. Can't blame the man for wanting to do something different.

The good news is that there's more than enough room in GalMIl for that. And he's right that Caldari can't really provide us the kinds of fights we need to get good with bigger and badder comps.

But hey, there's targets around here that can.

We Gallente have a saying: "CCP created the Gallente Militia to train the Fighters..."

Meanwhile snuff and their blue list has doubled in size.

Working as intended though. For F1 mashing line pilots that are fed up with t1 cruisers, theres always snuff to join and mash f1 in command ships vs t1 cruisers, periodically.

I keep asking her to be a director so that I can kick certain corps out of Gallente Militia, but so far she's ignored me.

The email threads keep me entertained while I'm at work. My co-worker was wondering why I LOLed so hard yesterday at my desk. It was to difficult to explain to him about the politics and drama of this internet spaceship game I play....

Now, THAT would be interesting. Wouldn't need to worry about a GalMil civil war then!

I'm counting on Wex Manchester and his undying loyalty to the Republic to stop Snuff from selling out to the mega corporations. You can quit FW, but you never stop being a member of the Murientor Tribe! (how's that for rp ? Somebody please forward this to IGS)

Gallente made a successful push over US Memorial Day weekend to flip Kehjari and a few other less notable systems but our other primary staging systems are stable .

I can't speak for coalition level politics and I'm not really sure why Kehjari was as big a derp as it was. I know our Templis pilots were on board to support the coalition and D-Plex Kehjari and showed up to fight but that our pilots were increasingly growing frustrated with the doctrines and tactics being employed by the larger Cal Mil fleet trying to D-plex the system and fend off the Gals.

On a bright notes, Templis has added a few more corps to the alliance including a couple solid FCs and pilots. It seems that every night of the week now we have an organized and well run fleet.

It also seems that we've been running into Aideron Robotics more and more recently and having good fights. It's been nice to mix it up with a new opponent.

Edit: I also forgot to mention we just recaptured Innia and Iralaja last night!

You get good fights from Aideron Robotics? Interesting.

They refused to engage me and my folk when it was 3v18 us them.
