They do look nice, but 99% of the time I'm orienting my camera away from the sun so as not to be blinded.

I do hope the settings to disable or reduce this so older PCs don't go nova will be available along with this feature's launch.

Edit: I do like it.

Very cool looking! But most of the time I wish we had some sort of space-sunglasses because of how bright stars actually are in-game.

It's like I'm almost actually outside for once.

^This. An option to filter out bright spots (i.e. solar system star/sun and clouds/nebula/whatever) is needed. Think of this as a pair of sunglasses, like polarized lenses or similar.

I love that stuff.

I also liked the secondary lighting you showed at Fanfest (with the Hurricane getting the blue hue of the nearby oceanic planet). It would be great if you could ship that soon-ish. :)

The gifs really do the effect more justice in a way the static screenshots don't.

They certainly do look spectacular! (Although I'll have to make a comparison to the current as I haven't paid THAT much attention to it in a long time.)

However, does raise a question in my mind. Has the actual stars themselves (up close) been touched graphically in any recent graphic updates?

Awesome! glad they aren't all stupid bright anymore. I hope they scale with distance (or will in a future release)

Lady Areola Fappington:  Solo PVP isn't dead!  You just need to make sure you have your booster, remote rep, cyno, and emergency Falcon alts logged in and ready before you do any solo PVPing.
