Lets face it. We are paying more tax nowdays to get the fruit of our labour....

Only the giant corporations are gaining anything from this right?

PI was already nerfed in high sec... so this was pretty much just another nail in the coffin.

Karen,

so you mean I have to go through the ardous task of finding new planets and then dismantling already running P.I.-factories and build new ones....just so that then later another corp takes over their planets too or RvB they themselves choose to put a higher tax...

....doesn't sound like a good plan I must say....

....when doing P.I. one really wants to calculate on forehand what the profit will be...theese farkin new taxes just makes it harder...

If pI is a large part of the game for you I may recommend moving to a wh .. got some of the best pi in the game and exploration for gas sites/sleepersites and such are very fun.

Sounds like you know very little about wormholes then. Going to guess the same is true for low and null. I'd recommend looking into it; the PI once you get away from the crushing mass of players that is hisec is much much better.

TL;DR

If you don't like the tax rate on your planets and you refuse to move, then you either get your corp to war dec the poco owners, blow up the offices and place your own with your new tax rate

or

hire mercs to do it for you

or

live with it.

It's only a nerf if you're the kind of lackadaisical, do-nothing player who wants everything for free.

Grow a pair and go knock down some POCOs if you're unhappy with the situation.

Pretty much all of the suggestions you've been given have been viable. Your unwillingness to put any effort into it is really the only issue.

The others were fine too. low sec and null PI i pretty easy i have done both a lot and still do. I have done both with neutral chars with no standings with locals. i have never lived in a wh so not done pi there.
An epithal is all you need for safe low sec pi (MWD, cloak, stabs, agility rigs, tank)

Money at its root is a form of rationing. When the richest 85 people have as much wealth as the poorest 3.5 billion (50% of humanity) it is clear where the source of poverty is. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/jan/20/trickle-down-economics-broken-promise-richest-85

When Hi-Sec POCO's came out, I stopped doing PI.

I could not be bothered to determine if the owners of the POCO deserved my money.

It was (and is) much simpler to not bother with PI in high sec.

Well...yes...and no.

I'd again say that owning the poco's favors big corporations mostly...and thats not how all of us want to play the game...

So you don't want to pay taxes, and you don't want to make enough friends that you can take over the resources needed to make other people pay taxes?

No it's not. Not really at least. It's your interpretation of a natural phenomena you can't seem to accept.

Bigger groups will always be more powerfull. It needs wit and intelligence to deal with them,
or someone like you who whines about simple facts of nature.

How you want to play the game is irrelevant. Everybody else plays the same game,
with the same tools. If you want to play your way that's fine,
but you have to accept the consequences of your "choice".

You don't really get the game.

That ringing in your ears you're experiencing right now is the last gasping breathe of a dying inner ear as it got thoroughly PULVERISED by the point roaring over your head at supersonic speeds. - Tippia

Now imagine if governments never changed and taxes always stayed the same...
Unfortunately EVE is not a democracy, you don't vote for who is in charge of your system - it's more of serfdom or feudal estate if you will - you are at the mercy of the guy with the biggest stick. And will always suffer as the System Lords continuously fight for power. Just like ye old peasants. When the lord changes you might expect some changes in leadership, taxes, military service etc etc etc
Your plea is exactly as a peasant from the dark ages - "I greweth my cabbages peacefully and quietly and I hath sold them to the fair for reasonable price, but now the new lord cometh and taketh away my produce and collects taxes every other morrow!"

So there are these options:
1) just like ye olde peasant you continue to do your job and hope that tomorrow the Lord doesn't want to turn your cabbage patch in a hunting ground
2) you grab ye olde pitchfork and torch and burn down his castle
3) you hide in the woods and pray on the rich and give to the needy with your merry band of merry men
4) you go out into the world to make your own path while being extremely careful not to poach in the Lord's forest
