Over the years I've wondered again and again as I jump from one character to another of one race and another... WHY are the clothes and tattoos limited to just one race.

I should be able to get my Caldari tattooed on the face like a Minmatar and wear an Amarr robe.

We are all stuck with the same dumb hair styles however.

Let us have the basic free clothes and tattoos and jewelry across the board race indifferent.

I really would love to see MORE hair styles.
MORE glasses styles
MORE boots, pants, shirts, jackets, gloves, hats, goggles, monacles, etc
The cyborg arm and tattoo sleeves are awesome.
MOAR PLEASE!!!

You give us snowball launchers for the holidays... I've always thought that was kind of goofy but hey whatever.
Why not let us have novelty items to wear.
Rabbit ears, a halo, devil horns, spock ears, etc.

What ever happened to the idea of blueprints for making the clothing items.
PI materials + bpo/pbc for clothing items = more stuff to put on the markets of new eden.

Sure many folks don't give a S**t about the barbie doll bits of the game but some of us like that stuff and it makes our game play more personalized and fuel's our passion for eve.

8+ years and I'm still loving this game.
Let us have some more spice for our interstellar stew.

  9. Receive "Store is currently unavailable"
  10. Close client

  16. Click "New Eden Store" graphic
  17. Watch spinny for about 3s

CCP Cognac your store code is borked. I cannot provide easier, more straightforward repro steps than the above.

MDD
Thanks for the excellent repro steps! The build on Singularity has been updated this morning, could you try to access the store again and let us know if the problem persists?

If you are still having the issue could you attempt the above steps again with Logserver running and let me know if you receive any exceptions when opening the store? Logserver can be found in you EVE directory.

Will we ever get decent dress slacks for women?

http://cdn.coldwatercreek.com/fx/products/360x450/K20600_030_S.JPG

I'd hoped the new Poise pants would be that, since they have that general aesthetic at the top, but then you get down to the calves and ankles and they're skintight.

I'd like to say that despite this criticism I am still very much looking forward to the new clothes and this is probably my favorite release in recent times for that reason. But I am disappointed that there's still so very few items that look fashionable with the pumps and shoes that female characters have available. Not everyone wants to wear leotards and boots!

I know it's highly unlikely this close to release, but if there'd be any possibility of flaring the Poise calves out when worn without boots, that would be amazing.

Before the inferno called Incarna was released we were treated to demos where models 'walked around' in very fancy dresses. So we know there's got to be a lot of assets available, where are they? And ah, how shall I be not too harsh about it... we may assume a lot of clothes assets were built for WoD. Is there nothing from that collection that could be repurposed?

EVE is a universe that requires an in-house economist. The store selling clothes, for real money let's not forget, should benefit from the services of [a] professional stylist[s] (if they are not already there) designing products for it. A few shirts, coats and pants really doesn't cut it.

There's a universe of opportunity to create a beautiful library of great clothing that would reflect the individual pod pilot's tastes and personalities. It's not content I'm after. I'm in it for the space ships. You, CCP, put the clothes there. Either do the idea justice or give us attire in the style of Mao: comfortable drab uniforms with pockets designating rank.

My first post was about this very idea: why does the elite of New Eden have to make do with a Spartan collection of clothes when so much more could be done?

And were you going to update that collection regularly or are we going to keep the present collection until it's back in style again?

Everyone who is commenting about items they'd like to see in the store, or changes to items: the developers don't seem to be responding to that right now. Those kinds of questions are probably better placed in Features & Ideas section. Its pretty clear from what they ARE responding to, that the items you see on the test server are just placeholders, and they wish our help in uncovering bugs with the way the new store itself works - or should work :)

Im getting one IRL once I get measurements made of it :P

But I'm also +1ing the issue with the Redeem Selected Items button not activating until you deselect/reselect one item (doesn't matter what item, just one)

When claiming a whole bunch of items at once in station, the redeem items button doesn't allow me to click it unless I uncheck and recheck something. Removing the redeem button from the options menu and hiding it in the store is also a hassle. The less separate load intensive interfaces I need to hop through to access functionality, the better.

Buying something in the store brings up the redeemable items info bar, which on my resolution pushes the close window X up outside the screen to where it's unclickable. I can still close the window by clicking on the store background but the whole arrangement just looks inelegant.

No ability to look at the in-game item info, check the market, or check your current inventory while in the store is a pain in the ass. Why do we even need to load the store separately if all the assets can only be used in-game anyway?

The Impress skirt has major clipping issues at the back. Very noticable if you actually bother to walk around the captain's quarters, but it still shows up even in character preview mode. The reflective glare on the clear glasses could also be toned down a notch or six.

And finally the fact that so many of the current clothing items sort of but not really match each other in color and texture still bugs the hell out of me.

This.

Also, the Amarr-looking dress with the plunging neckline calls for a shell underneath, because although it's a great looking piece of clothing not everyone wants to be hanging out of it. The obvious shell underneath is a t-shirt, but there are very few options, because the straps and collars on most of them show under the wide collar of the dress and it looks terrible.

If there were more options for shells underneath the dresses, that would be nice.

Submitted a bug report from within Sisi client. How do I deliver the 1,452KB log server LBW file to you?

Edit: You've got Eve mail.

Besides, that's a US only problem, CCP isn't a US based company, so that wouldn't apply anyway.

The US has the uncanny habit of exporting its problems so anyone can enjoy them. I was aware of the existence of the patent, not that it was overturned. I don't know enough about patents to say whether they apply globally or not. I erred on the side of caution as I could see this develop into a major headache for CCP. I want them to focus on upcoming releases, not the academic careers of the children of their lawyers.
