Repacking Kador edition ship, annnnnnd its gone

I repackaged a kador abbadon, and it dissapeared from my hangar, working as intended orrrrrrrr >.>

are you sure you didn't hit "trash it" since, you know, it's right below "repackage".

That's a Templar, an Amarr fighter used by carriers.

i'm not logged in, but is there a filter for packaged items in the hangar, and did you forget to turn it off?

You would have gotten a confirmation window to click on if you chose trash it by mistake

If you use EveMon look under the assets tab to see if it is listed and it's location if it is.

You get a confirmation window for repackaging, too, though (due to rigs, etc.). They don't look all that similar, but if you weren't paying attention...

Also, OP, you are looking in your ship hangar and not your item hangar, right?

I've found myself trying to find a ship in my item hangar after repackaging from the sidebar menu while not actually looking inside my ship hangar before.

btw, as I understand it, reprocessing a painted ship gives you back the unpainted ship, but no paint chips.

Yep this is correct, reprocessing will give you the original ship, but no blueprint.

I've repacked ships no problem, they always repacks back to the painted version for me.
