Test server re-load?

I went on the test server after a long break, to see the upcoming features, and to drive some ships, that would normally be out of my leauge. I noticed, that my test server characters were deleted, and replaced with my regular ones. Does this happen often? Im training for a carrier (~80 days) and I don't want all my progress to be erased the next time this comes up. As a side note, are there any boosters/implants that can make skills train faster? Whats the best one? (Cost is no obstacle.)

Every time there is a SiSi mirror made, they take your TQ account, copy it and paste it on the SiSi database. That way, whatever you had on TQ trained up at that point, overwrites whatever you had on SiSi.

This happens every time there isa Mirror made, which in turn, happens when an update is being made and tested.

train your main for carrier, cause in that 80 days there will be another mirror in july for the next expansion. Best to train your main then use your mains skills to test stuff. *note by main I mean TQ char not sisi char.

Training on SISI is always a bit dicey because CCP may mirror TQ and splat your progress at any time. This is by design and par for the course on a development test system.

However, sometimes you may wish to train something on sisi and when you do there are two options available to make this easier.

1) You can buy virtually nil-cost implants to improve training time: https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Skills_and_learning#Implants

2) Participate in a "Mass Test", where you are (I think) awarded with 2 Mil SP as a reward.
