Yyyeeaaaaaah.

You know, I have a funny feeling about this Factional Warfare business the empires have us running around doing.

Has anyone actually achieved a permanent objective in the time since we were called to duty? All I see is systems changing hands, back and forth, with no impact. No significance. It almost feels as though... bear with me here... the capsuleer community has been thrown a bone.

An old, meat-less, gnawed-upon bone.

They've got us killing each other, and to what end? The only one I can see, is to keep us busy.

Well it did rush forward an election and see a massive popularity drop in the previous Federation President.

And the new President called for a massive reconquista of the captured (contestable) systems.

Very significant in the end.

Off topic Miss Farel but... love the new hair look. *whistles*

Edit: Ah I knew I had a question. How soon after Roden's election and actual appointment was the Bloody Hand bombing that also lead to tightened border security across the Amarr/Matari faction warfare zone? The Minmatar were doing rather well up till that point if I recall.

The Minmatar are doing quite well now, actually.

Oh indeed, but the situation after the bombing dragged out into a lengthy stalemate.

Suddenly both the Gallente and the Matari have found a renewed sense of aggression. More to the point this is the first time in a long time I recall where the Federation is actually doing a better job than the Republic.

Not to accidently start a friendly "Anything you can do I can do better" rivalry here. Political neutrality and all..

The Amarr and Minmatar militias have been doing "rather well" one after the other on a regular basis until now, and one side has (yet) to take a decisive upper hand like the Caldari forces did in the early days of the war.

Maybe the Pashanai incident had an impact on the events of the war, but it is hard to tell, and eventually it did not turn up to be really significant on the long run.

We both seem to be spurring each other on.

With the capture of Huola our push into core Amarrian staging systems has begun.
