i think you can upgrade the 21 day buddy referrals, but not the 14 day trials from what i've heard from people in various chat channels.

resisting the urge to create another account personally, though, so i can't confirm it but that's what i've heard.

3800 units sold in 2 hours. During the same 2 hours, some 400 more characters than normal have been created. Takes a while to figure out a name, I suppose… P


Choosing a name is difficult, which is why all of my toons share the surname Higdon. My plan is to have Higdons in opposing corps just to see if anyone notices. I might be able to make a profit by killing myself and collecting on SRPs.

now that you've said that, any corp worth their salt already do forum checks on new members.

So CCP is getting more desperate to keep the PCU and subs up, and are now selling accounts at deep discounts.

Shrug.

They have done that before, and will continue to do with every increasing discounts.
Bottom line, they are trying to create more grist for the mill.

Will it work long term?
Let's have a look at the post B-R surge and see how that worked out.

Maybe CCP really is trying to go vertical on their sub base as opposed to breadth.
Older players only need so many alts.
New players typically start in high sec, and we know what the cartels and CCP think of high sec players.

I am sure this newest promotion will be a fantastic success.

Wait, other people can read what I'm writing? I thought this was like a blog, and only people I had chosen to allow to see my posts could do so! Someone should really tell Dinsdale that these forums are visible to everybody before CCP and the Goons find out what he's been saying and silence him! He's been going on about how EvE is dying because they're playing favorites with the Goons(though I think he used to say the same about TEST) for months now. They're eventually going to find out and silence him if he's not more careful.

considering you can specify 100% of the money to go to charity when purchasing humble bundles...

it's got nothing to do with keeping the PCU and subs up, and more about ccp giving away accounts to help good causes.

Can someone please explain me what you will specifically get as I'm not 100% sure.

If pay less - more than average I will get the starter pack (30days) without - with the vanity pack. If I pay $20 or more I will get a PLEX but only the plex, no extra starter/vanity pack?

My thoughts exactly! It's charity people, stop with the conspiracy theory. Buy it and put it all towards charity.

Buying 3 to give away to friends whenever they mention they want to try Eve, because the starter packs are the only way to dive in.

Edit: You guys know you don't have to use these keys immediately, right? I've used keys from HB months after the fact and as far as I can tell they don't expire.
