Manual piloting while using Macrod drone shortcuts is BROKEN.

Hi, this is very simple.

I have the default drone control shortcuts bound to the G keys on my G19 keyboard.

Every time i recall drones to orbit (SHIFT + ALT + R) with the bound G key, while quickly clicking in space to manually orbit a target, my camera zooms fully in on my ship requiring me to zoom back out again.

This is most undesirable as manually piloting around other kitey ships requires awareness of where other ships are.


So in brief, clicking in space and hitting the drone recall and orbit shortcut at the same time causes the camera to zoom in fully.


Ive posted before but please fix this, what appears to be, simple fault in the game.

Can't believe I forgot I had G keys. For the past 14 months I've played.

It's just more financially viable for me.

It's because you are doing an action while pressing the "SHIFT + ALT + R" shortcut.

Not a bug.

Of course its a bug. Why would anyone want those inputs to result in immediate camera zoom. Pretty sure there is already a completely different short cut for camera zoom lol.

My idea was that this behavior was linked to the "look at" feature. But it is not. So, it's probably an artifact left from a previous shortcut or something.

Hence, alt+click reset the camera onto your ship.

Well, it needs fixing. Really saps the fun out of drone kiting.
