What Noob missions to start with?

Finished the career path and read a few guides that say you should do the first 4 lvl 1 missions for each race to get the first few million isk. These guides are specific though, which lvl 1s are they referring to? I see a lot more than 4 and I'm not making much from them at all. The pay is around 50k isk. The career paths paid more.

Any L1 missions, yes they pay terribly.

There are no 'first' L1 missions, missions come from a pool, any L1 agent can give you them, empire and pirate faction permitting (eg Gallente agent won't give you a mission against Minmatar)

I think they mean 4 factions.

Each faction has 5 career agents. So you just finished 5 career agents of your faction. Now go do the other 3 factions. So you got 4 factions times 5 agents times 10(?) missions each, total of around 200 missions.

What Caleidascope said...

Then google "Blood-Stained Stars" if you like Missions and want to do a beginner's epic-length mission.

If you like running missions, only think of Level 1s as a stepping stone. By that I mean to increase your standings with that corp to move up to Level 2s. Ditto to Level 3s. It may be hard to even earn enough isk to buy a BC. It will take time. (unless you buy your isk)

At Level 3s, you can eventually earn enough isk to buy your BS for Level 4's. Then you'll be able to make 15-40m / mission. It will be hard at first, but as you progress in isk and sp, you'll be able to Level 4's easily. Later, the Level 4's may become boring to you, and then you may decide to do something else in EVE.

If you jump around too much, it may take longer to increase your standings, so that may not be a good idea.

Always remember Tovil-Toba, and what was done there.

Blood Stained stars for SOE is the classic thing to do after the tutorials.

Also train your Security Connections up a bit.

Thank you. I don't like the missions to much but I read a few times they were good to get you started in the beginning.

Really like exploration and have already spent most of my time out in WH space but I can't make any isk off it. I'm confused how you're supposed to clear those sites. I have my frig fitted for exploration so I have no guns but every site has rats. How do you do exploration without combat? Can I just sell all the locations I found?

WH space is not k-space. Different rules apply.

Generally Rule 1 is not bother with frigates in WH. They just die.
Generally Rule 2 is not bother bringing drone boats to WH. Sleepers kill drones and now you have no dps.

Generally WH is for groups. This is not a rule, I have done Class 1 and Class 2 WH solo in battlecruisers, but I did not do exploration sites and I did not mine. I just killed sleeper rats and salvaged them, melted nanoribbons (sleeper salvage) sells for about 4 mil each, that is now, in my day it sold for 5-6 mil each. That is how I made isk in WH while solo. The trouble is getting stuff in and out of WH and you need t1 battlecruiser or t2/strategic cruiser at the minimum.

Don't go do the other Empire Tutorial missions, I can't imagine that doing anything but make you hate this game.

Doing the Sisters of Eve Epic Arc, Bloodstained Stars, is what I'd do.

You could of course completely switch up and stop any offensive skills and go exploration instead. Brand new exploration is extremely hit and miss, but getting to good ISK exploration is vastly quicker to get to skill-wise than good earning missions.

Edit: And yeah, you can't do anything in a Wormhole with a frigate except scan a way out.

I like scanning and exploring a lot, and am not interested in combat. I thought exploration was a non com profession. Can I explore w/o combat? Or exploration intended to be a means to an end, I save the location then come back with combat modules fitted? 80% of what I find are combat sites, and relics and data centers have rats.

thank you for the above, but I'm not interested in battle cruisers. Can I explore without combat? And how / where do I do that?

Yes, you can. Only in high, low and null sec the data and relic sites have no rats. WH sites have rats.

In losec or null you will need to be sneaky and train for covops because even if you avoid the NPC rats you will also need to avoid the real players looking for you.

This.

You can scan out and complete the various Hacking sites (Data and Relic) located in High, Low and Null sec systems with just a Frigate equipped with a Probe Launcher, Data and Relic Analyzer modules.
