mordus ships launcher hardpoints

It may be my OCD-ish nature, but it pains me to see the asymmetric setup of missile hard points on Orthrus.
It looks OK if you watch it from above. But from below, the belly of the ship. Its horrible.

Is it possible to fix/change/rearrange that in any way?

EDIT: Same thing with Barghest.

Please, please please, fix it now, rather than in 12 months time.

Because you know people just won't stop moaning about it.

For the sake of a tiny fix, it ruins the great work done by the art department, when a ships hardpoints are asymetrical.

Agreed nost ships with odd number hard point have an uneven distribution of turrets the cormorant is a prime example

7 turrets one launcher, play with no launcher it looks like something's missing

With launch it looks silly with 7 guns and a random launcher

Yeah, it's... Kind of irritating on the Orthrus and Barghest. The Garmur's launcher placement is fantastic, though. I like the ones on the underside of the wings, really helps with the stealth/fighter jet motif.

This wouldn't be an issue if the devs actually responded to any of the concerns in the Mordu's Legion thread, ie: changing the missile damage bonus for either 6 or 8 launchers.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

You most certainly are not.

And please don't be mad at my ocd for bringing that up but I think the Barghest flies 'backwards' instead for 'forward', as in the brighter 'wing' should back of the ship, not the front.

How often do you spend time just staring at the hardpoints of a ship while in game? I can answer "Never while fighting... anything."

The issue can be circumvented by fitting the 5th launcher to the 6th slot.

In regards to the Barghest:

Seriously? CCP, I thought you knew how much of an issue this is for some of us! Please fix it. (Hell, just have a battery of 7 launchers on its spine below...)

The thing on the cruiser is this - you can get the symmetry on upper part of the ship, but you simply can't get it on the belly/underside of the ship.

And yes, if the ship is symmetrical, I would like for its guns and launchers to be symmetrical as well.

Big smile I was jsut about to propose the same.

They can put three launchers on each 'wing' and the last one in the middle between them so it looks cool.

I guess our favourite Art Team is hard at work to please us once again.

One tiny thing my ocd radar noticed yesterday while I was thinking about this thread and was starring at my Orthus on SiSi.

Don't be mad but the launchers on the Orthus also are not symmetrical. And my proposal would be to put two lunchers on the 'back' of the hull on those spots that kinda scream 'put me here' and the other three in a line with the same distance from each other on the 'spine'.

What do you think?

Why work so hard on making fantastically detailed new ship models when the turrets are placed at random.

A quick fix too, just the swap round of some hardpoint slots, like you did on the malediction after all the moaning.
