PI Production Plant - Raw Mat Consumption v. Tier 4 Yield

I'm thinking about setting up at least one full PI production plant, raw mats to Tier 4 goods. I would be getting the raw mats from Buy Orders.

My question is: How much of any given raw material would it take to produce a full spaceport of Teir 4 goods for export - say broadcast nodes, for example. I am aware that it will take I think a combination of eight (?) raw mat types to yield a given Tier 4 product.

A related question would be : if it takes a huge amount of raw mats imported, is it even viably profitable to initiate this venture, considering the POCO taxes for importing and exporting?

The planet I am looking at has 7% tax, but who knows how long that is going to last - I've seen 15%, even 25%-plus taxation charged at some POCOs.

Are there any third party sites out there that would be able to help with calculating this info?

The information regarding amounts of materials required to produce the PI goods of the next tier is publicly available, e.g. here:
http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Planetary_Commodities
You can calculate the total amount of P0 mats for each P4 product yourself, though there might actually be websites out there that do that. E.g. eveplanets.com can show you which mats you need, but not how many.

If you want to create P4 goods, starting from P2 may be a better idea though, as the lower-tier goods are rather bulky.

Your results may also vary from product to product, as they can have quite different build amounts required. Time to break out that spreadsheet! :D

Make them P2->P4 to stay sane. There are profits, lots of profits but the profitability of particular P4 varies weekly/daily even so better make simple spreadsheet which pulls prices for comparison.
You can run 2-3 P4 factories with ccupgrades4 (i think i had) depending which P4 you choose. Over 15% taxes will kill you.

If you are looking at doing Broadcast Nodes, here is the quantities that you will need.

1 Broadcast Node requires 6x High-Tech Transmitters, Data Chips, Neocoms each.
6 High-Tech Transmitters requires 20 Polyaramids and 20 Transmitters. Polyaramids would require 160 (Oxidizing Compound/Industrial Fibers) and Transmitters would require 160 (Chiral Structures/Plasmoids). In order to make 160 of those 4 items you would require 24,000 of each of their raw materials. So take the 24,000 units of 6 P0 materials and times that by 3, since you have 3 different P3's making the Broadcast Nodes.

Brief run down:
Reactive Gas- 48,000 (Oxidizing Compound- 320)
Autotrophs- 48,000 (Industrial Fibers- 320)
Non-Cs Crystals- 24,000 (Chiral Structures- 160)
Suspended Plasma- 24,000 (Plasmoids- 160)
Felsic Magma- 48,000 (Silicon- 320)
Planktic Colonies- 24,000 (Biomass- 160)
Noble Gas- 24,000 (Oxygen- 160)
Carbon Compounds- 24,000 (Biofuels- 160)
Noble Metals- 24,000 (Precious Metals- 160)

For a total of 288,000 units of P0 at a capacity of 2,880m3 and an import fee of (7%) $40,320 isk. If you had one launchpad to import these items in to, you can fit enough materials to make 3 Broadcast Nodes. The amount of time it would take to make those Broadcast Nodes would completely depend on your Command Center Upgrade skill level and how your factories are set up.
