I'd like to point out it's still not symmetrical with a little blob of armor on the bottom to the left (pilot's right) side.

Similar to how CCP changed the avatar pictures from something of a different universe to what we have today, changing the Moa from something unique to a more "Earth built" ship seems just more of the same now-a-days...

We built spaceships? Since when? Lol

Now if CCP could actually make asymetric ships look good, I would like them. Case in point: The Thorax is pretty asymetric, but still looks neat. The old Moa was unique only in its hideousness. Seriously, that ship was a flying lump of cancer. Space cancer.

I'm pretty sure it actively turned people of the game whenever a picture of it showed up in the media.

Added images: Moa's wings now tuck in during warp. Forcefield bay door on port side. Problem: gun mounts not aligning with the movable wings.

Also is it just me, or does the faux cockpit plates and the "nose" remind anyone of the Human Centipede?

Honestly, the nose is odd looking. It's very awkward looking with the faux cockpit "glass" on the neck. It reminds of:
a) the nose is a shuttle docking point (and the nose is the shuttle,)
b) the moa is eating the "shuttle"
c) the shuttle/nose is actually a mouth in a mouth as per Aliens,
d) the shuttle/nose are horizontal chin whiskers.

But the greatest sin of the New Moa is that it just screams Star Trek. For some reason it reminds me of some ship (or ships) from FASA's Star Trek Tactical Combat game. It could be Romulan. It could be Klingon (bottom row.) It could be Federation.

tl;dr - It's not EVE enough.

I prefered the old one Sad I don't agree with Caldari now being symmetrical, I liked them not being... CCP, is there any chance to not introduce this model yet, modify it and implement it later? I think it could keep its assimetry.

I just hope they don't remodel the Blackbird... If there's something more EVE-like than the old Moa, it is the Blackbird.
